Of those of you here that enjoy SCA, LARP, Battle reenactment and living history, may I ask what time period is it that you enjoy, what is the most popular?

I seem to enjoy living history more, but don't really favor a time period. Don't know what is most popular though.

It's a lot of fun. Not exactly my cup of tea but some of my friends are really into it. They figured out to make bows and arrows work, though I still refuse to be hit with one.

I just don't trust all that duct-taped foam to stop an object designed to kill by pentration and that I have no hope of knocking out of the air.

It's this weird paranoia thing that I have!

I'd like to do 21st centuary American with Bill and Hillary Clinton.
We could do a "re-enactment" of a firing squad.
"Good job Bill,  gee he can certainly hold his breath for a long time!"

I've been out of the SCA for a few years, but my era was primarily 11th century Normandy. I can handle a sword, but I'm primarily a bowman.

As for what's mostp opular, that's entirely up to the individual. Talk to ten different people, and you'll get ten different answers. That's what's so enjoyable about the SCA--all different eras mix together and have fun.
