Ladies, Gentlemen of the jury, I officially pronounce this girl as me from 3 years ago. Which means that, given time and tempered by continued rough handling, she'll become decent humanity. I'm not masochistic in the slightest, life has and continues to deliver enough physical pain, thank you--I seem to be in the process of discovering that I do, in fact, delight in releasing my sadistic side. (yes, my french pet, I'm talking about you if you see this.) But the mindset, pacing of the arguments, combativeness, and use of statistics all speak of my own paradigm. Slightly altered.
And what I'm reading is that this girl wants to be loved and beaten senseless at the same time; to have no control, but still be safe; and she's testing her limits EVERYWHERE, including those places where it's not appropriate. What she's getting is crowd control tactics, which are perfectly appropriate--but to her, she's not sure how to deal with them. Or how to get back on the right foot, re loved and controlled and safe.
So, I suggest continued castigation and public (if this forum serves as public) humiliation, but a gram of "this is for fun, you're being baited, and you're a young fool, but we like that." I like her, at least. She makes me want to kick her ass, and I really like that.
And if you really are pissed off at her, and would rather kill her than kiss her, just... pay attention to the fact that she's replying mostly to the really venomous posts. You're feeding her, babes. The worst thing you can do to her is be silent, so start living a better life than she has, and enjoy it quietly. It's possibly what pissed her off in the first place, the idea that she was being left out of the party.
