Luckily for me, the volume on men on Collar Me did include the right one.... and i also got to be very selective.   A good friend told me to write out all that i really wanted in a Master.  i did.  It took a while.  i met some who kinda fit the "ideal" and sorta had what i was seeking.  Thank all gods i did not rush into anything because my "ideal" came fully embodied in InkedMaster.  And i am everything HE was seeking.  To Him, i'm not a fixer-upper or something that needs to be bulldozed so He can rebuild me.  To Him i am that perfect property that only needs His finishing touches to become fully His.  Life is good.

Bob,  I've read a lot of your posts on various threads and found them to be usually quite intelligent and insightful.  But THIS was a really really stupid question.

Everybody influences their surroundings. Dominant, submissive, master, slave... there is nothing "masterful" about it. Your posts may or may not influence but they do not mold in my opinion.

My goodness Bobkgin, it does look like you've very nearly initiated WWIV, or whatever. You sure do have the knack of asking questions that start very vociferous storms of letters! Good question though, and really good answers from many ladies! I do feel for them for having to wade through some of the garbage they get. Just a side comment that I have also received some pretty off the wall comments and letters from a few ladies, so while its probably massively one-sided, its not totally male fed, some ladies feed garbage into the system too. Certainly enjoyed the feeding frenzy, especially some of the well-thought-out answers from the ladies

Well Bob, you sure know how to stir things up. I guess you decided to skip to WWIV because you already started WWIII.

I think others have already mentioned that a fair portion of men on this site are nothing but wankers of verious types that you can't possibly go strictly be the numbers. Once you weed out the following:

1. Men just looking for a cheap online thrill
2. Married men looking for a mistress
3. Men looking for a date while they are travelling on business
4. Men looking for sex
5. Men looking for an online relationship

you have weeded out an incredibly larger percentage. Then you have the following:

1. Men who really have no idea what it means to be a Dom but have been reading a lot of exciting porn
2. Men who want a free housekeeper with benefits
3. Men with no sense of being in a real world where a sub has job, responsibilities etc....
4. Men who can't even take care of themselves financially but want to take on a sub
5. Men looking for a second sub so they can live out their fantasy of seeing two women together

Then, once you've weeded out all of that, along with a few other wierdo's that don't have their own category, you are left with roughtly 10% to choose from. Unless you've been on the female side of things you have absolutely no idea how many profiles are just plain junk.

Hi, ya'll. I was wondering if anyone and noticed that Bob seems to being playing devil's advocate. While I think this has ignited some wonderful discussion, I really don't see the need to flame him, for starting a discussion that everyone is so passionate about. I mean isn't this a "discussion forum?"

Men who are out of your immediate area when you cannot pull up your life so easily.  Or men who are not working and would move to you, because your job could support them.

Thanks Kat.

Some folks are still reading the earlier posts, so their comments in context are understandable.

What's a few rotten eggs lobbed my way compared to the pent-up frustration we see flowing through this thread.

I just hope a few in the audience learn a thing or two from it all.

Submissives are people too. [:)]

I set up a fake female sub profile up once (it was only to see what kind of responses I'd get, I never responded to anything) because I wanted to see for myself how inane and stupid people can be......and I really wasn't proven wrong by the mail the men sent. A lot of them were just looking to get laid, the emails were filled with profanties such as "bitch, cunt" etc. I know there are a lot of women who hate men, but seeing how most men act, you really can't blame them for feeling this way.

I gotta say... that tends to be how I view it. I know it works for other people, but if you don't like me the way I am, don't waste my time.

*Grins* It's just another reason why finding the right dominant for any given submissive is not easy. Some of us really want to be molded to suit the dominant's pleasure. Some of us think if you need to mold us, you don't actually want us and you should go find a girl who is what you want.


I think I see it a bit differently. My dom has molded me and shaped me quite a bit. He didn't do it because he wanted to change me so much as he wanted to pare away the habits and parts of me that I didn't need to have.
He made me a better person and happier within myself by instituting change from the outside.

I also don't see it as settling.
I see it more as 'seeing the potential of what she could be' and helping her realise that through change. It is hard work.

Why would someone take on a whole lot of work if they didn't think it would be worth it in the end?
