DMFParadox -> RE: So do single female submissives hate men? (9/28/2007 11:25:04 PM)

No hate at all, from what I've seen. Guardedness, and... pain. Reflexive protectiveness. But not hate. Somebody on this thread said it best... the sub females that are here are looking for long-term... they're ACTIVELY seeking out men they can see themselves with for a long time. They are truly trying to prepare themselves for the event; and more, they have something to prove, something about themselves, that automatically makes them more open to contact than your average girl on the street that's thinking more about her job, the italian food last night that's fighting back, he-said she-said friendship worries, etc., than what she will do for the man that gets her. The subs here are really looking for someone that can make their efforts worthwhile. No, it's not hatred. You can get unsolicited emails from *young* local girls... which is unheard of on any other site, usually the 18-22 set just posts a profile and forgets about it. (actually, they were pretty agressive and confrontational too--which is incongruent for a girl who wants me to tell her what to do, although it makes a kind of sense. Good thing I like a good fight.) This is in large part due to the way that Collarme presents people's statistics, especially usage statistics (who's on now, admirers, etc.) but it also tells a story about how goal-oriented these submissive girls are. Truth be told, most guys are pretty decent when you get to know them. And "stupid" is a very relative term; bad typing, shorthand, stupid jokes and one-word introduction emails can hide guys who on any other day would be pretty dreamy to the right girl. The same goes for real-life interactions. The men here, and everywhere else in America, need some hard-core training on how to present themselves in the best light. The avalanche of clumsy hurts everybody... but then, if it weren't like this, there would be some other hurdle to jump, so better the devil that's known... then again, if the dynamic flipped over to average guys getting the goods with their first few approaches, while girls have to look harder, then that's a whole new game with implications at every cultural level... meh. I'm hitting the feedback squeal on that topic, so it's time to quit, or I'll start talking about paradoxes. Blame five hours of pool, poker, liquor, and the USF bulls knocking the crap out of west virginia (WOW that was an awesome game. Pro football has nothing on college games.)
