Not sure this fits the topic but I think it does. I guess I'm what you'd call a newbie since I'm just recently taking action on seeking a dom. I've been reaching deep within myself to find in all honesty what i want and need in a Dom and what I believe I can give easily and what limits I would like streched.

After getting very comfortable with a Dom via phone and email and believing we had a powerful connection, we decided to meet. He put a lot of time and energy into our communication online. Now comes time for r/t. But in r/t he was different, not commanding much at all, much more laid back. If we did a scene it was unbenownst to me. He had talked a lot about doing a scene and asked me if I wanted to hear about it. I said I preferred to act it out, that would be more fun. He did very little in the way of what he had led me to believe he would be like.

I'm a sincere sub and really desire to please, but this guy was so confusing. Is it too much to expect that a Dom do what he says and says what he intends to do? Was he just a phoney playiing Dom?

A few years ago, on one of the MSN Gorean Communities, we were all getting tired of a slave who was a pure “drama queen”, I ended up doing a Gorean version of a well known TV show but renamed it “The Springing Jerry Show.” It had all the trappings including one of the Free men acting the part of Steve. It was a complete riot. The more I read here, in between roaring with laughter, the more I’m reminded of that Springing Jerry Thread….. We also had another community called “The Days Of Our Gor”, I’ll leave that to your imagination but mayhap the Mods may see fit to open a Comedy Forum…
