I would say this one was certainly taught about disregarding fences by someone other than his parents. More seriously, I fear the days of juvenile misbehavior being handled between adults in kitchens are a thing of the past, at least around here. As you pointed out, apples don't fall far from the tree. More likely, such an approach would get me verbally abused about the brat being precious and incapable of wrong-doing. I heard, but haven't Googled, that crime is on the decline in Watts and Compton. I have a guess about where it went...
