Status: offline 		I suppose for most, the degree to which they enjoy being naked is directly proportional to their self-confidence in their physical appearance. Not all, but most I would say.

I just love being naked. Barring that, wearing something that shows off my positive attributes is a great thing.

Am I a bit of an exhibitionist? Yes, I suppose you could say that, hehe.

I do it with a good attitude, I think. At least I know I try to. But I've also learned to go into the Emperor's New Clothes mind set once I've experienced the submission/ humiliation/ whatever that's part of being nekkid. I always give the initial feelings to the Dominants but to be able to continue nekkid I have to do the mind game otherwise I'd try to crawl under the furniture to hide.

Status: offline 		Im chubby. I dont like being naked. I am to self concious. Even though I am losing weight its going to take a lot more to get me to be comfy being naked... I know that the one I am with wants to be with me even if I am chubby but its still ....tramatizing!

Dadysgirl19, good for you and I hope you keep losing...I also lost quite abit of weight(80 pounds) but unfortunately at my age I just look like someone popped me with a pin LOL (lots of skin YUCK!) so even though I'm thinner than I was, I still don't like the way this body looks. Ain't that a bitch?

Status: offline 		i loathe being naked...even getting naked to bathe and prepare myself i avoid looking at myself in the mirror as much as possible. i'm extremely self-conscious about my body, skin, etc., and on most days don't think i'm anything worth looking at. that others, including my Master, disagree is irrelevant, i still dislike the way i look. but when i'm actively serving...whether it's sexual service or something else, my focus is 100% on whatever i'm doing and doing the best possible job, and it serves as a merciful distraction from the fact that i'm nude.

This is a sentiment I see echoed time and time again by females in particular. I know it's so common that it must be damned ol' human nature! But it makes it no less frustrating to see the person you love not swayed in the slightest in their self-loathing no matter how much positive attention and love you shower them with.

Some do it, undoubtedly, merely to "fish" for compliments. I don't believe that this is the majority, however.

ugh...someone giving compliments after hearing me criticize my appearance is the worst. my pessimistic mind is positive that they're only saying positive things in an attempt to make me feel better, they pity me, etc., and that is just humiliating.

but it's true females in general tend to view themselves harshly and often have a low opinion of their bodies. Men otoh, for the most part seem rather confident and secure with their appearance, even when they may not exactly be a "hunk"...i always wondered why that was.

DocRudy....wow, I had never looked at it this way...It makes sense though....On the RARE occasion Master says something less then flattering about His Self I know I cringe...It actually hurts my heart to hear Him say those kinds of things about the man I love...so, ok..I get it...because I love Him I have decided to love His property as well...now old habits die hard so I won't be perfect, but I'm going to make a concerted effort to REALLY not say or have a negative attitude about myself....Seriously DocRudy...thanks for the eye opener!

That being said, I love fashion and all its glory and I love using clothes for decoration and certainly protection from the weather.

But it's not a sexual thing or a "ooo naughty" thing, it's just how I am.

I can dig it LA...and OMG LMAO you made me think of the time I went out side to get the mail(mail box was at the end of the drive way at the road) when I was about sixteenish.  I had forgotten to put pants on, so all I had on was a tee-shirt and unders LOL...I was MORTIFIED!!!
