Excellent advise Moongoddess and thank you for pointing out the difference between those who would want to know such information and those who are more 'surface' based.  Not that either is right or wrong, just very, very different in their beliefs when it comes to this topic.

THE HIGH-END SUBMISSIVE

This is probably the biggest load of crap I have ever read...Why is it that we try so hard to box everything up so neatly?....This is doggy doo-doo.

Does anyone here own a copy of either 'the loving dominant' by john warren or either 'different loving'?.  i found a site which detailed the chapters of the book and one of the chapters was called 'the high end submissive'.  trouble is i have lost the link and cant remember which of the two books it was in !.  if anyone has these books and could check for me i would be really grateful, then i could order it myself.  it seems alot of people dont believe in this term but if john warren or the author of a different loving does then thats a good start.

many thanks

Hi Domiguy, I didnt know you were back.  I have to agree, it seemed like a load to me too.  One more attempt to put a tag on something to make it seem more than it is.

Domiguy isn't back.  It's a resurrected thread from over a year ago.

To the resurrecter... John Warren is on this site, why don't you just PM him and ask him yourself?

JohnWarren, all one word.

IronBear -> RE: high end submissive (10/4/2008 11:40:50 AM)

High End Submissive has in my books always meant:

sub/slave capable of seriously competing with top models and being able to fit in with the European jet set or at any Royal Fuction as though she was born to the blood. She will often be High Maintance too but may hold such possitions as Legal Councel, Specialist Medical Advisor or CEO of one of the top 100 corporations.

HES equates to the top echelon of slaves and will excell and thrive under such lifestyles as Gorean or strict high protocol M/s homes.

tweedydaddy -> RE: high end submissive (10/4/2008 2:50:37 PM)

That would make me a North end Dominant, get real, we've got enough bloody labels already!

antipode -> RE: high end submissive (10/4/2008 6:15:02 PM)

To answer that I'd have to know which end is high.

masterforRT -> RE: high end submissive (10/5/2008 1:12:52 AM)

After reading the steel-door article, I wonder how many that identify themselves as switches are really high end submissives?

i have identified myself initially and have been told without my telling them first as a high end submissive but there is limited information on the net.  can anyone tell me any more about 'them'.  are they really such a challenge for Doms to cope with as what i read?  will they affect my chances of making a good sub? and any advice for me? are they really as rare as what i am led to believe?.  thanks

High end submissive? HUH??? Might want to ask those who labled you that, what that means.

sunshinemiss -> RE: high end submissive (10/7/2008 9:53:45 AM)

can I be a red neck submissive?

Yes you can!! You can also be a red assed submissive.

I personally have issues with the "highend submissive" label, probably because I have issues with labels, period. Although labels and stereotypes can he helpful in expressing ourselves, when you start trying to box yourself into that stereotype, it's time for some self reflection.

As always, JMO.
