Well chas I will respond to you without using any insults or inuendos, nor even BIG LETTERS.
For some people it is simply the inability to fuck, for some it is the punishment that accompanies an attempted hardon.
That said I find your comment to be a bit abrasive, but I will not call it rude. You do also have a valid point and as time went on I was actually going to mention the same thing. But as you see Vad has to weld all this together, and this design seems to be OK. I would like to see a cage with no more than about 3/16ths of an inch space between the bars. I believe this will improve security as well as comfort. It should also still allow for good hygene.
Perhaps the bars would all meet at the base of the cage, so be it. I am pretty sure I have seen a device like that somewhere on the net.
Vad, I would like to explore other things in your field, perhaps a mouth cage. With or without bit, up to you. Breast cages would be fun too, I have an evil genius core, you seem to have tools.
Chas, your post did make a good point, but was a bit abrasive. I bet Mod11 is watching you now. You are new, what you have to realize here that this is like being on someone's house. They do not tolerate any type of name calling, or even hypothetical threats. A very strict environment. But as you cannot obfuscate the topic with such things, neither can others.
I want you to understand, before you get the thumb of Moderator Eleven on your throat. This is a place where you can say almost anything, like "I want to shove a watermelon up my ass and put a diaper on and be chained up for three days". Here, nobody will call you names, and even if they do, you can see from the tone of their post that they meant it as a joke.
I totally agree that Vad's device has waaaaay too much exposure, and I was going to mention that eventually. But I have nothing constructive to offfer at this point so I hold my tongue,,,,,,err, whatever. (my typing finger)
Vad, getting to the subject, can you make one with like eight lineal runs of rod, I mean base to tip, not radial. ? Because other than the excessive exposure, you got a winner. I know it might be harder to do, I am no dummy when it comes to making things, but when it comes to 3D wire shaping, bending, welding, that just isn't my bag. Thick enough bars would make that a high security device and would be worth it. It would also help if there were some plates welded to the inside of the cage, then maybe less bars would be needed.
I have many ideas, with more lineal bars the space is so small you cant get anything in there of use. As they spread out you get decent hygene, there is never anything trapped. Well except for the obvious.
Vad, I know what I am talking about to some extent, take my word for this, make the cage a bit better and concentrate on changing the screw idea into an integral lock idea.
The cage is not really that bad, just use more rods. The locking mech though can be a trick bag. Not easy to do I admit, but the right modifications could propel you into world class status as a CB maker. But I have my doubts as to whether or not you want this. How about showing some of your other work, you are into what you are into. Show things that you were not asked to do, but what you wanted to do.
