i am an exhibitionist, so if playing outdoors increases the chance of me being watched, i welcome it. i have had sex outdoors and when i was at Leather Retreat, a few years ago, there was plenty of opportunity for outdoor play. i even did a sensation scene with a Domme, at a summer event locally, in the outdoor pool, in front of an audience. It was awesome.

I guess it just boils down to the intent.

I never had and I always wanted to. I do lots of hiking and I know of secluded areas. I have discussed making love outdoors with vanilla ladies I have dated in the past, but they chickened out, I was trying to push their plain Jane limits. It will happen one day, a blanket will be needed and hand restraints, perhaps my camera if they are into it.

excellent advise.

I do a fair amount of outdoor play and sex. ( when ever I can ) and all of that is very useful info to have.

I love the freedom of being naked outside.. and the elements. Esp if lake side. Gotta keep an eye out for boaters down here in Fla. though. *chuckles*

You also have to watch out for 'gators and other nasties we don't have up here.

Nice thing about my place is the privacy (pics at my profile, if you're curious). It is a joy to walk skyclad with the sun, the wind, the rain and/or the snow every day of the year.

(now if only I had someone to share it with ...)

I have only done once , on a treed hilltop overlooking a lake on a beautiful day , it was the perfect setting to really really enjoy.
Of course got me thinking of some places that I have been camping/ waterskiing,swimming in the French River, Georgian Bay and other areas of Northern Ontario that have wonderful islands that one can boat to that would be absolutely perfect for play. or even renting a cottage on a private island

Well, seeing as my main scene interest is human pony play, followed closely by human-puppy play and outdoor bondage; yes I have tried it, and it is wonderful, and I have been doing it often, in many different places in the UK and Europe since 1993 (and several times before then).

Its a bit harder to find somewhere sufficiently private in these crowded little islands - but then we've exterminated most of the predators and general even the insects are not quite as hostile as those in the US or Australia, etc.

So please folks, if you want to do it outdoors in the UK or Europe, please get in touch, I can recommend suitable places, eg the pony wood in Devon (next visit 3 Nov.) and the places I have used for Tawsingham, the adult naturist club I use in Kent (nec=xt visit 26 Oct.) and in France (next visit 12-15 October) ....

Outdoor play sounds like amazing fun! Sadly I don't mix very well with sunlight, so any excursions I plan have to be at night time... which unfortunately seems to be when the police are most on the prowl for suspicious activity in my area. Blah.

That's one thing I really loved about where this event was/is held. No potential problems with law enforcement, no potential problems with people seeing things nonconsentually. Much more freedom without such worries.

Laws differ from area to area, so the sex criminal thing will differ, too. Outside is wonderful (as is being watched!) but you only need one twisted prude to get hysterical and god knows what you'll face in court. Take this into consideration. Local politics are a big deal. And the sex crime of today is something nobody noticed a few years back...
There's a lot to be said for private property, yours or a friends. And one thing not mentioned is snakes- they're a big deal here in rural Louisiana.

We have some nasty snakes here in Missouri too, copperheads being one. Luckily no snakes were seen in our area at the campgrounds this time and apparently it's not often they are seen at these events.

While I can be adventurous, I won't do play or sex where there's a chance of problems resulting. I have important others to consider (my family), besides just my needs or wants. Got to have balance.

Thanks for the link LA, appreciate that. I'd wondered if the topic had even come up here before.

I like my comfort too, but the outdoor play was great and no bug problem or scratchy problem. Had good bug go bye bye stuff set up lol.

He flew back from Florida/Mexico yesterday after two weeks absence.

I have played outside lot's, but never BDSM play.

Seriously though, I have had sex outside, which I find
a whole lot of fun. The intensity around possibly seen
or for me heard makes it so much more exciting.

It's different because one, it's illegal, at least in urban areas and two, it just "feels" different, like more animalistic and free, I enjoy it, yes.

I don't "Scene" anywhere, if that is what you meant by "play",
My scene's are all private with my partner.
