Driver1961 -> BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 8:41:49 AM)

Well, another's comment on Blue Balls got me thinking.

What are blue balls?  Is someone with Blue Balls strong or weak?   Are Blue Balls simply an excuse for men to shame women into sexual response?

Is there a male who can claim adverse physical/psychological actions upon others resulting from the condition of BLUE BALLS?

Warm regards to all, Driver.

Yes and a piss poor excuse at that.

Are you seriously asking or joking around.  Because I can answer your questions if you don't know what the phrase refers to and the medical considerations of it, but I'm not going to bother if this is meant playfully.

mnottertail -> RE: BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 9:13:40 AM)

I rather like to shame the girlies during the act, and not in anticipation of it.

He dips to Rumpus and others!

Yes, I have framed it playfully cos my thoughts are similar to Mr Dis44's.   I am surprised by how 'Macho Blokes' (You'd call them rednecks) use this term.  I find it insulting (if not amazing) that women believe that 'blue balls' exists as a reason for  them to invoke relief for a man.  To use terms as, I really need to release myself, I'm horny beyond belief etc, etc, but Blue Balls to me is a load of rubbish that is perpetuated by men that haven't got past pubesence in their sexual prowess.....

As men we are told to respect women and NO as NO.   If women believe the existence of a condition of 'blue balls' then sexual and physical assault media education means nothing to empowering themselves.   I have had women remark to me that when a man has 'blue balls' they feel obligated to respond to their needs- irrespective of their own.  Believe it or not?

So on a serious note I am trying to uncover if anyone can substantiate the mythical condition of 'ble balls' that could be likened to pms etc that women can legitimately and socially use as excuses for their behaviour.

Hence my reasoning for this thread.

I welcome education on why I am wrong.

Warm regards to all, Driver.

I suppose I should answer the rest of the questions posed:
quote:

What are blue balls?
Supposedly, it's a medical condition.
quote:

Is someone with Blue Balls strong or weak?
All the guys that I've seen that stated they had it were weak, IMO.
quote:

Is there a male who can claim adverse physical/psychological actions upon others resulting from the condition of BLUE BALLS?
Everyone that would claim to hav BB would ALL claim adverse effects from having it. It's still a piss poor excuse for adverse physical/psychological actions upon others.

MissSCD -> RE: BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 9:59:04 AM)

I have seen my slave's blue.  I did not put them that way, but the Domme who was training me at the time, had full authority over him.  She was showing me how.
I know.  Yes there are effects if one can speak afterwards.

TotalState -> RE: BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 10:06:06 AM)

I know that my balls ache if I get close (as in *really* close, actually fucking to the point of orgasm) to cumming and don't have a release.  It's not a bad pain at all, and I'm never without release for very long, anyway.

Google had this to say on it: http://health.discovery.com/centers/sex/sexpedia/blueballs.html

RumpusParable -> RE: BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 10:16:22 AM)

You seem to be implying in your last post that it doesn't exist...

If that's so, please read the above posted link ^.  Discomfort due to arousal-caused, unrelieved vasocongestion is quite real.

What's often forgotten and not discussed, both in everyday talk and informational links like that above (though this one touches on it), is that this isn't a one-sex issue.  Both sexes experience this pain and what little dual-sex studies have been done tend to show a higher discomfort level for females with it (due to the difference in anatomy) and that, while not the case for any males studied, for females it has been found to cause some negative effects in sexual functioning.

chellekitty -> RE: BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 10:35:10 AM)

never had a problem with it myself...

As a former EMT I had occasion to run into some very weird stuff. On one of those calls We transported a 21 year old male who had developed a

Testicular Torsion? Within the scrotum, the testicles are secured at either end by a structure called the spermatic cord. Sometimes, this cord gets twisted around a testicle, cutting off the blood supply to the testicle. Symptoms of testicular torsion include sudden and severe pain, enlargement of the affected testicle, tenderness, and swelling.
This condition, which occurs most often in young males less than 25 years of age, can result from an injury to the testicles or from strenuous activity. It also can occur for no apparent reason.
How Is Testicular Torsion Treated?
Testicular torsion requires immediate medical attention. Treatment usually involves correction of the problem through surgery. Testicular function may be saved if the condition is diagnosed and corrected immediately. If the blood supply to the testicle is cut off for a long period of time, the testicle can become permanently damaged and may need to be removed.

Yup it would appear he lost his left nut to this condition but NOT to blue balls. Blue balls are to simple a problem to solve. Get the KY out and have a date with Rosy Palmer. LOL

As the "another's comment" yeah blue balls are *real*, I dunno if I'd go as far as saying medically acknowledged as a true condition..and as so many have pointed out throughout history this idea has been used to justify crossing that line of NO into rape, which is bad.

I personaly don't accept harmonal variations within a person, male, female, both or neither, as an excuse for crossing a line as an adult whether it's going from finger fucking Miss Sally-Jane to actually fucking Miss Sally-Jane and blaming it on blue balls, or telling your boss to fuck-off and blaming PMS, if you lose control of your emotions and let your actions run amok, it carries consequences for which you should be held accountable.

which is how the topic came into the conversations.  but yeah as a man gets hornier there is medically sound (yet to be debunked) studies which show his judgment is impaired just as there are the same kind of studies talking about pms niether of which impair a person's capacity to make rational judgements more than say a half a beer would, so it is not an excuse in either case.

and to answer the other, if you have to ask if something makes you strong or weak...you already answered the quesiton for yourself about yourself

~Fast Reply~

It happens. Doesn't mean they are weak - just means they get really turned on and the blood in their balls is losing oxygen and turning blue. It is, however, a pathetic attempt to get laid when a man goes "Come on baby, I've got blue balls! If you don't do something they will fall off!"

chellekitty -> RE: BLUE BALLS?! Experienced it? (10/3/2007 2:02:56 PM)

that could be interesting to watch...and encourage...on certain people...not naming names though... [sm=flying.gif]

I think my response to that line would be "Do you want a bucket to catch them in?"

Blue balls was the infliction my ex had whenever he figured he had gone too long without sex.  Actually went to a doctor to have his personal diagnosis confirmed.  He was really upset to find out there was no such thing.  He was even more upset when I suggested he jerk off more often and don't bother me with it.  The separation came next :)

I was about to come in here and burst all your balls,  when I told you that there is no such thing as "blue balls".

But littlebit beat me too it...  thank you little bit.  :)

He dips His lid to all:

Thanks everyone to date for your contributions!

We are yet to find a male who stands up with his 'blue balls' as sound justification for a woman to relieve him- (Mind you it could be said that some Doms are wimps to even the slightest pain/discomfort irrespective of normal physiological reactions)

I certainly accept that a male's body does prepare itself for release of sperm with some animalistic urge, which is also pretty cool when some women feel similarly.... but this is overcome with self release to some degree but the physcological effect of release to the preferred sex is not satiated here- hence the lingering want.

Losing a left nut through medical constriction- I've heard of this also and believe babies to todlers can develop this.

http://health.discovery.com/centers/sex/sexpedia/blueballs.html is amusing with it's political correctness and lack of 'sound referenced medical content' tending to give some validity to 'blue balls' depending upon a reader's perspective.

I'm yet to find a male that is prepared to offer his 'blue balls' as anything other than a means to pressure their preferred sex for release to a build up of sexual tension. Hardly any medical validity.....

Blue Balls through CBT, (cock and Ball Torture) is very very very understandable. A build up of de-oxygenated blood that physiologically has no means of escape to re-oxygenation.  A mild to similar self induced form of testicular area constriction.

Chelle,  I have an image of 'red hot idiot males' lining up blindfolded, ball gagged with scrotums tightly balled in hand to the alluring smell and sound of a woman.  The evil woman of course has her ball guillotine held by one sub, and the 'plopping' bucket held by another...   "Next poor man that needs effective relief for his blue balls?!"

Is there any male here who'd like to step forward to put the case for his blue balls?   The obvious funny farcical posts will be accepted.

Warm regards to all Driver.
