Hey! It's valid. "Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game".

Massive - Lots of accounts

Multiplayer - Lots of posers

Online - Kinda self-evident

Role-Playing - Lots of fake accounts

Game - Life is one, and we're all on here [one might hope] because of the part of our lives immersed in the "scene"

I play both WoW and FXI. But I'm a bit of an "odd" player. On the Lakshmi server over on FXI, I used to be a bit infamous as the only Galka White Mage main who would get picked for a party in the dunes over a fair number of Taru. (- Sure Galka are mana deprived. But food and drink are a wonderful thing. -)

I was able to stay away from WoW for the longest time. My friends play primarily Alliance. I HATED all the alliance races. Well they finally made an alliance race I liked playing. But again, I didn't play the stereotypical spacegoat. I think 99% of the draenni were shaman when I made my first character. From what I understand, was the first draenni paladin on the Draka server.

Because I don't play as often as those who aren't working a fulltime job AND going to college, I'm still below 50th level with my pally.

I play wow...have for about 2 years now...although I haven't really played alot of late. I am on stormrage...Grammy LvL 70 priest! (alliance)

Lumus, that's very well put. lol But we don't want to deal with Collarme fakes, it gets boring. :P

Razor - Lakshmi, really? I'm from that server, and I think I know you, Galka WHM's were far & few between. Might have been the one always standing around. . .

I met some of the COH team at Blizzcon. Apparently they currently only have a staff of two which explains why when I reactivated my account I was plagued with bugs and the same exact campaigns that existed forever ago!

I used to play FFXI but I got annoyed with the inability to solo past 40 or so.

I play WOW pretty hardcore but on a regular raid schedule so its not as time consuming as it used to be. Speaking of which...I'm off to beerfest ...hic!

They've added a lot of new content recently, but yeah, mostly the content is the same old grind. I hung with some of the staff at GenCon, they were pretty fun. :)

Nice to see their's a lot of active people from this lifestyle who play on a regular basis.

curvy - their's lots of people who solo past 40, I was one of them, it just takes time and patience. But that's what MMO's about is the whole 'people getting together' thing, I suppose. . at least FFXI stays original in some parts. .
