Ok... pieces of things I've gotten from books that I love to think about when it comes to D/s

Mario Puzo: The Godfather: In the book, not the movie, Puzo talks about Michael's wedding night with Appolonia (I think that was her name)...

And describes that she was wearing a crucifix around her neck - with no clasp. The chain had been soddered together years before. I've always thought that that was a wonderful way to affix a collar - permanent and unbreakable.

ANYTHING by Christine Feehan in her Dark series. Yes, those girlie romance novels but FULL of good D/s - both man and woman being strong individuals - one submissive, one dominant, who fit together without either losing what makes them who they are.

The Ethical Slut: It just resonated with me.

I'll have to think some more on this.

I don't pattern myself after it, but Macho Sluts by Pat Califia ignited something in me.  The book was well-written, focused on the interior experience of BDSM, and disgusted me and aroused me in equal measure.  Yum!!!

Amen to Macho Sluts and nearly anything by Califia, I also adore the Marketplace series, Meeting the Master by Allysa Wald, the G. C. Scott Books, Molly Weatherfield

but in terms of inspiration, I find more in the nonfiction books such by authors Race Bannon and John Warren, Slavecraft by Baldwin, Easton and Lizst

My first love seduced me with Venus Im Pelz, but considering how that whole party turned out, I can hardly say that it has impacted the way I view D/s relationships.
Um. Reading that part of The Stand where that poor retarded fellow gets buttfucked with a loaded pistol? Probably not good for me at age 13. That level of involvement is probably the best way to describe how I am impacted by literature; subtle, smoothly adding to my generous pool of paraphilia subconsciously.

Hears now this song of mine. - Edith Thomas
