Several subs here have described having an "oral" fetish. Let's talk about that. Where does it come from? How often do you feel the need to satisfy it? Any more than your Dom?

Tell me more about it in your daily life in detail....let's explore this. How often a day do you give oral? What is the urge like? How long have you had it? How often if ever are you rejected?

Just by the by..........

Submissives don't even have a checkbox for it, perhaps lesbian submissives do for anal worship, I am not sure. It is a truism that if you are a submissive you will spend a great deal of your time with someone's genitalia in your mouth.

No Idea where it comes from. Maybe my mother breastfed me too long, or - maybe because I was bottle fed. Who knows. I've had the fetish - noticably, since highschool.

I would say I end up giving oral at least twice a day. I wake Master up from his nap every afternoon with my tongue, and usually sometime after the kids are in bed I'm inching my way under his desk.

With me, there are noticable signs my fetish or urge is "kicking in". Basically, I start playing with my tongue and putting things in my mouth to play with - bottle caps seem to be the most common. If its convinient at the time, Master will pull me over so I can play with him. If not, then I simply have to wait. I have before rubbed the tip of my tongue raw against my teeth before because the urge came at a time when I just wasn't able to satify it, but I've never been rejected or denied it. If Master doesnt want me to satify it on him, he'll give me something else - such as a penis gag, or even a lollipop to pass the urge.

tink, interesting...

Could he use your fetish to control you? Like make you do something demeaning and have you complete it and to give him oral as a reward? How would you react if he tried that? I mean, I know you obey already, but if he used oral as a reward system...?

I believe what you are thinking of (and what tinkJH was describing) is called an oral fixation. Many, many people have it. It's one of Freud's ideas, one that actually seems to be true (you know, a thousand monkeys with a thousand typewriters, yadda, yadda, yadda). Individuals seem to become stuck in a specific period of sexual development.
I have an oral fixation. I am only happy when I have something in my mouth, it may be a pen, gum, a lollipop, my pinky, or other things

I have a friend with an anal fixation. Ever wonder why we use the term "anal" to describe someone who is very presise and neat? Yup, that would be Freud.

I could go on and on, but I will only do so if someone is really interested.

Superman, i think any Master with a sub who has an oral fixation could use giving oral as a reward absolutely, and on the flip side, a Master could also withhold letting the sub give oral as a punishment...* sighs* have had that happen, was not pleasent and had me obeying VERY quickly

Ehh, in my relationship with pet, I'm realizing that I'm the one with the more frequent desire to give oral. Doesn't make me less dominant since I know I can tease her for a very long time. *Smirks evilly*

Freud believed that there were five psychosexual stages of development including oral, anal, phallic, latency, and genital and each of them is connected with a different stage of physical development. There is a conflict in each stage, if the child has trouble working through this conflict, a fixation can occur.
This fixation can either be "positive" or "negative." This means that it can either cause someone to have either a fetish or a revultion with the particular stage of psychosexual development.

1. Oral - Usually occurs between ages 0-2, the pleasure source during this phase is the mouth and pleasure is obtained through sucking, biting and swallowing. The conflict that occurs during this stage is weaning (originally from the mother's breast, but later from bottles). In other words, if a child has difficulty in weaning, they may develop an oral fixation.

2. Anal - Usually occurs between ages 2-4. The pleasure source during this time is the anus and is obtained through defecating or retaining feces. The conflict in this stage is toilet training. If an individual is punished too much during toilet training an anal fixation may occur.

3. Phallic - Ages 4-5, with the pleasure source being the genitals. The conflict here is the Oedipus Complex for boys and the Electra Complex for girls (I can explain these too if anyone needs). Penis envy is also said to take place during this stage

4. Latency - Ages 6-puberty. During this time sexual feelings are avoided by spending a great amount of time and energy on hobbies and sports. There is thought that this stage is becoming smaller and smaller and may someday eliminated.

5. Genital - Puberty onward. During this time the physical changes in the body causes the sexual urges to reappear. At this time people begin to become sexually attracted to others. The conflict here is social rules, meaning that if a person has trouble with social rules they may develop strange sexual habits that are outside the social norm.

This information can be found all over the internet and in thousands of books on psychology. This particular information is from my brain and three years of developmental psychology classes.

#1 for me. . .I swear I came out of the birth canal with my thumb stuck firmly between my lips. Then when it was no longer socially acceptable I switched to cigarettes (humm, now that's a thought how many of us smokers were thumb suckers?, Pink you with me on this one?)

I still suck on my pinkies when I get nervous (generally my right one, but if I have to write with that hand I will settle for the left). It may not be socially acceptable, but I don't really know if anyone notices.

And yes, many smokers were one thumb/finger suckers, or they used a "binky" or a bottle until an older age or something of that nature.

I just had a thought (not meaning to hijack the thread, let me know if you want me to take it elsewhere Superman). What if these complexes show themselves through the desire for age play? I think that it is very possible and maybe even likely. Any thoughts?

Hrm... #1 is would be for me. I was one hell of a biter. Ouch

As for punishment. An oral fixation isn't JUST satisfied by giving head. Fingers, Pens, Candy, even just playing with my tongue. I am barely even consious of when it "comes around" anymore. I can be sitting and watching a movie and the next I know - I am playing with my index finger in my mouth or a bottle cap. I don't think a Punish/reward system would work very well, as, I could seriously end up harming myself. Like I've said - I have irritated and rubbed the tip of my tongue raw before just by playing with it against my teeth. If Master tried to use the fixation as punishment, and did not allow me to satisfy the fixation with him, or any other type of object - I'd probably cause some serious damage to my tongue. Which, is the same reason I can't ever have my tongue peirced - I'd never stop playing with it, it would be too dangerous.

It actually helped me from rubbing my tongue to have it pierced. I was able to play with the (plastic) barbell all the time without harming my mouth or my teeth.
Unfortunatly I am now a MIT (manager in training) and am not allowed to have any piercings.

Maybe it wouldn't work for everyone, but it might (although it may not be worth the risk, it's just something to think about)
