A hidden agenda may be bad and cause all kinds of trouble, but not having any agenda at all can also be a problem.
I'm sitting here laughing my ass off imagining am IM conversion such as this going on between a prospective Dom and sub with each other;

Dom/Master: I don't know, I was going to ask you would you like me to use you. What are your limits?
sub/slave: None really, so I can do anything you want.

sub/slave: I don't know, just looking. What are you looking for?
Dom/Master: Somebody who'll do anything I want.
sub/slave: Such as?
Dom/Master: Whatever I want, when I want, and how I want it. What all have you done before?
sub/slave: Pretty much anything and everything.
Dom/Master: Really? I've never had anybody that was so open to doing anything.
sub/slave: That's OK, I've never been with anybody who did not know what they wanted.
Dom/Master: I know Exactly what I want and you're it, Where have you been all my life?
sub/slave: Doing things that other Doms wanted me to do.
Dom/Master: fuck off, I don't like your attitude, I know exactly what I want.
sub/slave: What's that again?
Dom/Master: Who the fuck are you to question me, your just another cheap whore that's willing to do anything.
sub/slave: I'm sorry you feel that way, not my problem you don't know what you want.
Dom/Master: I know Exactly what I want and you're not it.
