Oh, and I can repair most types of machine,two stroke engines,four stroke,diesel,air cooled,electrical,hydraulic and pneumatic machines. But I can't fix this blinking computer, fed up fixing it, want a new one

Hell, just to name a few....... I have an uncanny talent for training dogs…..It takes me no time at all training them to speak on command, catching a nerf football while leaping at a full sprint… and remaining well behaved and gentle around small children. It took me just a few days to get my lil’ sister’s small children fully comfortable around large, hyper dogs when they were initially terrified. In a short time….I used the dogs to teach nine and eleven year-old girls to swim unassisted and remain comfortable in class 2+ whitewater. I can effectively—and with great finesse-- row /paddle a raft/kayak with/without crew, through the most chaotic, boulder strewn, rushing waterways that are non-commercially navigable. It’s also a good bet that my wrists are still quick enough that I can slap a 90-95 mile per hour fastball into right field. And last but not least…I am a fairly decent analyst {thanks to the great genes from my father} when it comes to trends surrounding niche market stocks{ acquisitions/mergers within niches are my specialty} real estate and antiquities/collectibles. - R

Well, Darcy is a writer ofboth fact and fiction, a musician(guitar mostly), a DJ and mixer, and a photograher. He is amazing at figures and also cooks a mean breakfast! He has an amazing knowledge of films and music that has me in total awe. I used to make jewellery, but haven't for many years now and I used to sing in a band occasionally - but can still do both. I can cook rather well (so I am informed) and I know how to clean with natural materials and not just use a bottle of bleach (my gran taught me well). I paint (usually figures) and sketch and I am told I am pretty good at photography. I also create digital art and work in mixed media. I can build websites, I am trained in window design(glorified window dressing) and have a business degree. I have training as a nail tech and I kick ass on X-box games. I can verify that Aneirin kicks ass at working with metals and I have a beautiful set of 10 talons that he made me from copper and they ROCK.(You can see them on my myspace which is linked to his... see I do plug you A[;)]) If you want something hand made and unique - he is the guy to send your commissions to). I write romance novels. I tool leather, do loom beadwork and knit and crochet. I also paint ceramics. I have terrific sense of direction and locational skills; all I have to do is go somewhere once, and I can find my way back again 10 years later, even if I don't remember street names, etc. When I was in the Army, I used to be woken up at night while bivouacing because I was the only person would could find the way to the women's latrine a quarter mile away, in the dark, and without a flashlight. We used to go out and scare the shit out of the guys in the woods, finding their way to their own latrine with their red-filtered flashlights <grin> We'd just stand still, and rustle a few branches, or step on just one dead branch for a moment, heheheh. Oh, and I type 110 wpm :) edited to add: and I play a mean kazoo!!! LOL!

i write band/music reviews and am radio personality for a net radio station here in Chicago ...plus scripting my first novel for a band i know. i sing in a choir and do backing vocals for another band. i played piano and guitar. i cook and dance.

i'm an old-school tinkerer born in the wrong generation... i have an intuitive grasp of mechanics and physics, and making things work together. Cars, motorcycles, computers, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, drywall, fiberglass... Kind of a jack-of-all-trades-involving-tools. i wish i were more of a craftsman and less of a hacker, but it's hard to imagine living the way i do without these kinds of skills. Edit to add- funny that the.dark. should mention copper talons... just this month we rediscovered a set i made for my wife back in 2000-2001ish, and at the time i thought i thought i was oh-so clever for coming up with the idea... until a metallurgist friend warned us that copper is not a very good metal for blood play [:o] It has a great look, though! Oh, and the way that some people have a natural rapport with dogs or horses, i get along very well with cats. Not the most valuable skill, but it pays off in companionship.

i sing...anything with a melody that i have a passion for...that means my only specific vocal exclusions are rap and death metal....right now i am particularly interested in Bebo Norman and Dar Williams music...though i have ranged from Wynona to Cher to Journey to Shinedown to Liza Minelli to Bob Dylan to Gregorian Chant to Bruckner's Te Deum (though i am now going to have to learn a new part because i can't sing as high as i could when i first learned it because i smoke now...damn me)...there is a "No-Talent Talent Show" this saturday, that i may or may not go to and blow their ass out of the water...if i decide to go i am thinking the song hands by jewel because thats one i am feeling passionate about this week...if i can find it on a karaoke cd at a local store...but umm yea... my other main artistic endevor is large metal sculpture...i just wish i had the tools and studio space...the metal is easy enough to get and relatively cheap... and i have fifty ideas in my head right now....its very frustrating... skills...i can trouble shoot and fix almost any computer hardware problem...but its not any fun for me...its just necessary at times...fun is replacing old parts with shiny new ones... i don't know if this is a talent you were looking for, but random strangers on the street seem to be able to share their troubles with me and leave with their load lightened and i don't carry it with me either....i kind of like this one the best... chelle

Lots of things after 45 years of living. Leading and managing people. Staying calm and centred in time of crisis. Assessing people, their strengths and weaknesses (including my own) Working with animals, especially behaviour rehabilitation. German shepherds and GS mixes are my favourite. I've always been very creative when I have the time, sculpture, sketching, painting, and now my new love photography. I've even managed to sell a few prints. I am also a published writer but it is only a hobby. I've a knack for decorating. Love to cook and entertain. Was a very good nightclub manager. I love that atmosphere but prefer to be running the club rather than a patron. I have an eye for quality wether it be antiques, home furnishings, clothing or whatever. I can drive a fast car, manual transmission well......totally zoom zoom zoom. Even raced stock cars one year a very long time ago. I also drove a tractor trailer for a season. And can operate most farm equipment. Also a team of horses. I have some mechanical skills.....I just don't like to use them if I don't have to. I can split firewood and install the wood stove to burn it. I've won shooting trophies with handguns and can hunt reasonably well even though I choose not to now. I've a good green thumb. I am a great cook of all sorts of things and not afraid to get creative with it. I've got great instincts about most things. I am comfortable in any social setting and with all sorts of people. I am usually very good at multi-tasking. Excellent bargain shopper. Good money manager. Good home building/carpentry skills. And many many other things that I just consider life experience or life skills. Oh, and after last night I am the possum killer extrordanaire!!!!![:D]

hmmm.....lets see...I cant cook, and my cleaning skills suck.....but Im a fairly decent mom, and an OK mechanic....Im good with cattle....a fairly accomplished carpenter and woodworker, good with electrical systems and plumbing....I can tile and install hardwood floors.....I dont know how to apply my own makeup but I can paint houses fairly well.....Ive got a pretty good green thumb.....I sew medieval garb really well, won a few awards for it..I can do chainmaille too and make mead.....who needs to know how to cook when you can make your own alchohal?.....I play drums but Im learning scottish flute....I can fish and hunt...and I can gut and clean my own kills if that counts as a skill...oh, and I win the local VFWs turkey shoots almost every year....now...if I could just learn how to attract women....I still suck at that....
