Doesn't really apply to me, but I have had the conversation with my Dom about how I don't feel my family needs to know.

I'm living away from home and am nowhere near my parents. But I don't think that what I do in bed is their business. I know that my mom wouldn't understand and so that's the deal.

Luckily.... I have no family near me, my mom is gone...

Second, Master's family is polite enough to not simply just walk into the house if they come over, they knock.


I think this is a fairly dumb question... being that most people don't simply walk into someone else's house, unless of course you are gonna go over to your parents house - but even then usually you call or knock before entering.

Likely they'd embarassingly leave, we'd embarassingly stop. Later we'd go on afterwards as though nothing had ever happened and if I ever felt my mother needing reassuring I would just hug her and tell her that her angel was very happy and healthy and doing fine.

Okay, this question realllllly doesnt apply to me... I dont have much family left and I certainly dont live with them... but heres a spin on it:

Now, if your family walked in on you in a public scene that probably means that theyre part of one of the BDSM lifestyles. After the intial shock of "you too?" I thing that embarassment might be secondary to surprise.. :)

If they walked in on you in a private scene at your home.. ermm.. you need better locks. Sheesh.

My mom already knows that I'm interested in kink. We watched Secretary and I tried as best as I could without running from the room what I liked about that movie. So she knows what relationships I'm interested in, but I doubt she's thought about/wants to know the details.

Considering they're across the country, that's unlikely.

I would wonder why my dogs didn't bark to let me know someone was there!! I'm lucky in the fact that my family lives about 8oo miles from me, so they don't know much about what I do.

If it was my grandmother, she would probably offer me some iced tea or a Coke or something. She knew about my choice before I told her (no clue how!) and is completley fine with it.

If it was my stepmother, I wouldn't see her for weeks afterwards.

If it was my little brother, he would probably run at the dom and try to kick his ass for hurting his big sister.

my mom already knows about my choice to bein the lifestyle.. She does not agree with it but says I am a grown woman whatever makes me happy is fine with her.. She says she worries about me getting hurt (lol).. I keep telling her that I won't get hurt unless I want to be .(lol) My daughter also knows . she was my safe contact for any first meetings...I chose her because we have such an open relationship and she is the one I trust most to follow through. as far as one of them walking in on a scene...hmmm I can't imagine that since W/we are always at His place if I am there or a hotel if He is here. My daughter and Mom always knw where I am but unless I called for help they would not intefere.

First, I guess...if they avoided being assaulted by myself or smilezz upon realizing there was an intruder in the house, I would ask, "Who gave you a key? What Are you doing here?" and follow up with, "Get out."

I'd say Hi Mom & Dad, I didn't expect you, go on out in the living room and I'll be with you in one moment.
Then we'd talk once I was dressed and they'd be shocked and work it out eventually to the point they'd say something like that's really weird, but if you like it.....
