The NewYork train could head down to florida and the west coast train to alaksa, therby they would never meet. At least not any time soon.....

Which year? Currently? Or a hundred years ago?...As of the late 90's they were silver I do believe....but I havent been back to Chicago since then so they may have changed looks since then.....

Yup,with blue and red.  This replaces the old green ones- which had a certain allure.
[as far as I know they are the same for 2007]

You don't have enough colors. You need ALL the colors, and I don't think crayola has done that line yet. Might take a while.

Status: offline 		Do you have any other symptoms besides the bacon thingy? Have you accidedntly burnt anything in your taster lately? Stove? Microwave? Are there any shorted wires somewhere in your house? Is there a pig on fire in your neighbors back yard? There are lots of things it could be besides a stroke.....besides...you asked that question origionally hours ago...I think if it was a stroke you'd not still be posting.....but thats just my opinion only and Im not really qualified to answer things like that since Im not Jinger or a medical professional....

Status: offline 		Very attentive of you, thank you kindly. Some folks are seemingly too busy or some such to worry about other's potential cerebral embolisms.

I guess you're right, it's probably not a stroke, since I'm still upright and all the parts moving, i don't seem to be drooling...(okay a lil bit from the "Do Doms Give Oral Sex" thread).

My guess is one of my colleagues has caused some misfortune to a pork product down in the kitchen. Amateurs.

Status: offline 		The crayon colour thing is a common misconception, and it's also why your printer is cmyk rather than rgb, like your monitor.

The difference is addition and subtraction.

If you shine a red light, a green light, and a blue light at something, you'll get close to white, cos they're adding. But if you rub a red, green, and blue crayon on something, you'll get black, cos you're now subtracting light from the full spectrum white that's present. I never understood the whole deal when we were learning out of textbooks, but now that i've had some practical experience with it all, it makes much more sense.

I can go into more detail if you'd like, but it'll have to be later when i get back from trade school.

My siblings and I actually tried this. My lister had learned in school that white light was made of all colors, so we eagerly colored a bit of paper with every crayon we could find. It was quite disappointing to be rewarded with an ugly, brownish smudge.

Status: offline 		And that's where we run into real world vs ideal world problems.

In the ideal world model, rubbing the red crayon would actually cause a speckled appearance, because of the gaps between the red receptors in your eyes. Same with the blue, and less so with the green, because we actually have more green receptors in our eyes than other colours. Seems that having that's important when one shade of green will kill you when eaten and one won't.

But yeah. because the crayons aren't pure red, green, and blue, you get mis-coloured black. i'm also not entirely convinced the light we get is pure white, either, but i'm way too tired to try back that up with theory.
