Honestly I have always usually given a gift to my dominants kinda as a thankyou/use this on me. Wishlist make my purchasing easier

That too is a great idea. I wish amazon had larger kinkier source of toys to add to my wishlist. But as it goes I'd just have to link to alot of site for that. Im working on my various dildos for my strap on collection and my usual collars.

I think Extreme Restraints has a Wishlist feature....I know JT Stockroom has a wishlist feature just like Amazon

Ahhh I didn't know that! I'll have to go make one this sec! *claps happly*

I have 3 wish lists.  One at Amazon, one at Extreme Retraints and one at Victoria's Secret.  I can send the link to  any of them, although I am probably easy enough to find at Amazon.
There is not requirement to purchase something, but there are boys who do not ever get past the reading of My website, and if they are so moved, I have already given them a substantial hint.  It makes them feel good, and I get a surprise in the mail!  *Smile*
Truly, I have had correspondences with some and when they know it is My birthday coming up, if the spirit moves them, it is just a little easier to figure out what might be useful and  make Me happy.
On the other hand, I have a boy I am collaring shortly, and when he walked up My front path with 2 gallon bottles of Spring Water I was more touched than I can say!  He paid attention to something that most would not even think about.  The dcotor told Me to drink more water, and he wanted to be sure I had something good to drink!  He has shown him self to be thoughtful in those ways so many times over the last few months, how can I not collar him? *Big Smile*  I can't beat that!

Someone may bring this site up later in the thread, but there's a wishlist site called TheThingsIWant.com that lets you add things from *any* website to a list, or to several lists. For example, you can have one set up for shoe fetishists, one dealing with gear, one for books, one for clothing, one for big ticket items and one for under $20 things -- however you want to set it up. (Nope, I don't work for them, I just think it's a nifty and useful site)

Personally, I think wishlists are great. Even if you don't end up getting everything from them, folks can get an idea of the things you like, and even get a bit of an idea about your personality.

What a wonderfull place! Im adding it to my list, hell its almost theraputic for me to "window shop" just to think of lovely things I'd like to get myself let alone worry if my slaves will treat me sometimes. I guess its a girls love to just dream of the lovely things she'd love to have.

LillithWithin, thanks!  Am going to go check out that site as it sounds like exactly what I need.  Outside the internet I'm a list-giver for Xmas, birthdays and such and it's coming up on Christmas, time to "hand" one to my spouse and my mom.  If this works well it'll be much better than emailing a list of wishlists lol!

Many of my vanilla friends maintain amazon lists, and that's how we gift each other for birthdays, hostess gifts on visits, and gifting for other holidays.  I don't think it's wrong at all to have your desires in a central location, so long as you're not pimping it out like you're desperate for handouts.

The nice things about wishlists is that you can put a variety of things on it, in all price ranges. Let it be know that gifts mean a lot to you...perhaps because they show you that the individual was thinking about you. But, also say that if they're going to choose a gift, to choose one that fits their budget; you're not looking to Dominate them into bankruptcy.

I have a good friend who set up a wish list.  The list consists of charities that donations can be made to.... causes that can use volunteers.... BDSM community projects that need help....etc.

I don't have one, but, if I did, I would follow that lead.  It would certainly show the sincerety and profound interest a submissive has in impressing and pleasing his potential Mistress.

Would you please ask your friend for the website addy of this wish list and post it here? It would be right up my alley.

Thanks to the above posters for the good wishlist sites!

Wishlist, ohhh brother.

At least they seperate true dominants from the fakes.  They don't bother me too much since I avoid them, but my beef is that sometiems these "wishlists" pop out of the blue.

There is a charity that buys farm animals and suchlike for third world folks, it's another good one, and there are always homeless shelters and food banks as well.  I live in a cold climate, and in one of the worst-hit states, economically, so I would be happy to have gifters help out my charities!

Really?  How does having, or not having, a wishlist seperate the "true" dominants from fakes?

And also-- I do have wishlists.  I don't demand that anyone send me something, but if they ask, I will let them have a look.  I think they are very beneficial for gift-giving times.  Let's others know what I am wanting, needing, or am interested in.

I have no problem with women that have "wishlists", are looking for cam, phone or
real time partners for "sessions".
I just don't pay for Domination, and I never will.
