JasonF -> CM Stalking by a master? (10/16/2007 8:06:59 PM)

Is it strange of me to "stalk" my girl on CM? 95% of what I read on these boards is just what she writes and the context around it. She seems to think it's "weird" and I'm wondering how the other Doms around here handle it.

Why are you stalking her?  Do you not trust her, or are you trying to steal her friends from her?
That is how my Mentor worked.
My answer is NO.

You're engaged and you haven't talked to her about this? If it's making you uncomfortable, ask her to stop. I'm assuming that you trust her, so stalking her does seem a little ott. But you need to ask yourself why you feel the need to check up on what she's writing.

More like I enjoy getting a "onlookers" perspective of things. It sometimes helps me to understand her better. Sometimes it's amusing, or a conversation starter between us.

Haha, you aren't true![;)]

RRafe -> RE: CM Stalking by a master? (10/16/2007 8:18:49 PM)

Can't she just tell you herself?

Estring -> RE: CM Stalking by a master? (10/16/2007 8:19:38 PM)

Is her writing that compelling? Why not spend that time talking to her in real life?

PryderiLoup -> RE: CM Stalking by a master? (10/16/2007 8:21:41 PM)

If my sub were writing on any forum I would read every word. Not because I didn't trust her, or was jealous of her friends, but because I would want to know what, and how, she was thinking.
There is a group that subs can join, and I sent my last there, that makes submissive members agree that they will not share their emails with any doms. They want it to be a place where submissives can feel safe to chat without fear of their dominant "spying" on them.
I do not think that you reading all her posts is weird, unless, of course, it is for reasons other than learning about her.

RosesHaveThorns -> RE: CM Stalking by a master? (10/16/2007 8:24:25 PM)

I asked before I did the same. However, it's a tad too late for that, but perhaps before you do it again, ask if she's uncomfortable about it, and what makes it so. If she's only bothered by the weird factor, ask to keep doing it. No harm no foul in this case.

Could try asking if she wants to make an account and then have her not tell you it's her.

Maybe if you end up heading toward the TNG meetings in the central NC area ;)

has anyone else noticed that his girl has read AND posted on this thread herself?

how is she stalking herself if its her mans post? would that make HER stalking him? and then only if she was following him around

JasonF -> RE: CM Stalking by a master? (10/16/2007 8:32:36 PM)

I think people are seeing this as a permission/annoyance/communication issue.

It's not that. In fact, I linked junecleaver to this thread after I posted it. I never asked her for "permission" to read what she posts on a public forum. I own her, I'll read anything of hers I want, whether it's in a public forum, her diary, email, anything. I was more-or-less wondering about if other doms did this or not, that's all.

Sounds like a good topic for a new thread.[;)]

I think your original question might have been a bit unclear.  There's nothing wrong with you reading her posts.  I don't have a problem with any partner or potential partner doing so and they can gain some valuable insight into my viewpoints of things we may not have discussed.  She might just be uncomfortable with you lurking around, but is it "weird" or unhealthy, I don't believe so.

I would stalk Juliska, but she has only posted here once...;)
