Meat, I have wondered before why the Brits hate(d) the Kurds so much. Is there a specific incident that occured? It doesn't seem racism would be the cause , since they supported other non whites over the Kurds

....it's not hating the Kurds so much as it has never been politically expedient for government to honour their promises there. A situation that is, in my view, reprehensible.

Lucky, I think the Turks still deny that what happened to the Armenians was genocide.

That said, I'm not sure what purpose the Congressional resolution really serves.

You are the one mis stating basic facts and pretending an invasion is occuring when there is not one, perhaps you should look in the mirror[/color]

I'm going to need to see a copy of the Iraqi Parliaments' authorization for Turkey to invade and conduct warfare against the IRAQI CITIZENS in Iraqi-Kurdistan. Got a link? I can't *imagine* the Kurdish representatives in Parliament going along with that at all.
