Both, neither. In my experience what makes the best thing is a combination of two things, a genuine desire on the part of the slave to be the best they can be, and the skill of a competent Master to guide them in that process.

I'm not a Master, but I was totally vanilla when I first started. Master says sometimes its easier to train one that way, but if you know something about the lifestyle it helps too. I believe its up to each individual.

In my experince. A Newbie or a vanilla female make the best slave. Expereince female subs in the lifestyle ten to top from the bottom most times.

I always determine the best slaves by the teeth firstly and then I check out the tea leaves.

Its amazing really how much you can tell from the teeth. I often approach a potential slave on the street and tell her to open her mouth so I can examine her gnashers. Within moments its apparent to me how good the slave will be.

If they get past the teeth test I will just bring 'em home and check out my tea leaves, which is really tough cos I don't like drinking tea...anyways if the tea leaves tell me everything is hunkey dorey, then i usally collar that slave and add her to my huge big harem that I keep out the back.

In my opinion what makes a good "slave" is the same as what makes a good sub a good Dom a good Domme ...its about finding that someone who fits your own personal requirements. who cares if the world thinks they are a fantastic slave what matters is what you feel inside when you look at each other-i think the phrase i'm searching for is something like one persons trash is another's treasure.

The best slave (IMNSHO) is the person who has issues, but also has a deep abiding feeling that they have something of value to give,...and they want to give it.
