I think it is different on a case by case basis.
Vanilla, chance they will totaly rebel against the whole idea.
Experianced, they know whats going on, but may have pre established expectations.
Newbies are a blank slate, but require more patiance in general.

The one who gives in to themselves and their desires. The ones who have accepted who they are and wish to learn more. These will most likely make the best slave.

For me personally, in my experience, the best slave is someone who is responsible, has sought out knowledge but continues to learn, one who can focus on another person's best interests first and foremost but also take care of him/herself, and its been someone who is quite capable of leading and being assertive.

But then I don't see the slave = submissive equation.

The best slaves I've met have only been submissive on occasion and with one person (their owner) at any give time. The best slaves I have met and owned are very friendly, outgoing, and self motivated people. They are great assistants and wonderful managers.

In short, it is someone with enough experience and knowledge to understand what they are getting into when they accept or use the term "slave" to refer to themselves while at the same time being flexible enough to adjust to another person's needs and desires but offering strengths and not needing guidence beyond the basics.

Of course all of this is a reflection of my own biases about what I want in a slave and in a 24/7 relationship.

it all depends between the 2 parties...
my 1st MS was a 30 yr pro...and 10 yrs my senior.
now my 2nd Ms is 6 yrs my junior and is new at being Domme and i have more "field" experience than She does.

does it matter? i don't think so. someone else will call me a liar. someone else may agree.

the one(s) that are true to themselves.

the One(s) that treat the slaves needs.

Anyone can be the "best" slave, though it takes alot of work from both sides, to serve, to be served, how, when, where are taken care of.... it is the "why" am I a slave... that sometimes catches people offguard. Remember, before the internet, there were slaves...before the so called D/s life of men and women (D/s or T/b old guard terms), everyone was vanillia trying to be different (oversimplified I know).

Anyone can be the best slave....:)

I do not think there is a " perfect recipe". What works for one couple weather D/s or M/s may not work for the next. That is like asking how do you find the perfect husband or wife. In the end it must be 2 people who understand each other,their wants, needs, desire, and hopes for themselves.They must be able tocommunicate and be openand honest about ALL things with each other. They must be willing to work at it, the reality is no relationship is a cake walk.

We must find what works for us and know that even that can change.

As a slave / submissive i feel the best slaves are those who can lose their own needs fantasies and wants and abandon them all for the well being pleasure and amusement of their Mistress(master ) .

i have no qualms about losing all my whole being for the pleasure of my Mistress
