Status: offline 		As I type this post, I was reading a journal entry from a BBW submissive who was being given a hard time by another sub who was disgusted by her profile picture and criticized her for that reason. After reading this wench's profile, I'm inclined to believe, in my humble observation, that she is full of herself and feels a need to put someone else down to build herself up. That said, I really have to wonder:Is there jealousy among some submissives/slaves?

Status: offline 		As stef wrote we are all human beings and jealously is going to be an issue for a percentage of people regardless of gender or roles.

A message board is no different then the real world and people will bring their issues with them. For some jealously/insecurity manifests in needing to feel better then others and to broadcast it in a public manner. Whether it is a person they actually feel superior to or a person they feel lesser to in their own dysfunctional brain and feel the need to try to take down who knows and who cares.

Status: offline 		the only time i feel jealous anymore (this is after a lot of growing and growing up...) is when i am insecure in my relationship and scared i am going to be replaced....most recently and unfortunately in more than one relationship, the activating action is a submissive-outside-the-relationship's, sexual and intimacy needs are being met before mine are...

socially...do i get jealous of other submissives? not anymore, i have enough self confidence that i don't worry about anything like that...there are other fear based emotions i go through...but jealousy is not amongst them....

I assume it was an email??

I don't see that person as being jealous, I see that as just plain outright rude to write someone outright to insult them. Rude and classless is a person who initiates that kind of email.

Nothing you said about the inspiration for your question lead me to think of jealousy.  Rudeness and egos, yes, but not jealousy.

There is always jealousy when you are dealing with people. I have 2 boys, and to an extent there is a little jealousy between them. It isnt an unnatural amount, and it doesnt get in the way, but it exists and Id be stupid not to think it was there. Its human nature.

However,  The fear and insecurity maybe be externally or internally caused.  Second... the fear and insecurity maybe illusionary and unjustified or could be very real and justified feelings.
