I don't know about the rest of you subs out there, but I used to get nervous and clumsy around certain men. I have discovered that these were usually Dominant men... you know, the ones that when they look you in the eye... you look down..., away...., picking up on that Dominant trait. yum!... I have been told that I was recognized as sub, a few times, by men I thought were vanilla...turns out they wern't!

this is in concert with you felineone. In the old days when you had to go out and about to get your own, to press the flesh so to speak, rather than type your way into a mind and heart, this is the exact behavior that I used to call 'bumping 'em up a couple times' to find one. Ron

I have had very few say to me that I am submissive.. I always get the answer to I am submissive with No way..you are a Domme or at least a switch..I am a switch that prefers her submissive side. That is how I am and want to be..but I can go "Dom" in no time flat if pushed...lol!!! Then I suggest you leave fast! Proceed from the idea that all women are submissive in some degree. (accepting that some are submissive to such a tiny degree they dominate others.) Find some one you like and push her to where you want her regardless of how she "sees herself" If you're dominant you will be pushing her limits all the time anyway. They don't decide. You decide. Keep in mind, even deeply submissive women sometimes just wont like you.

i am usualy polite, and act rather shy, this i guess i more becouse i am raised to be polite, and i am nervous around strangers and hate conflicts. If somone told me sit down or get me that or that, i would do it, but if that is becouse i am submissive, or if it is becouse i hate conflict, and am unsure of pepole, i do not know.

Your question made me recall the times when I would literally act up, just in the hope I might get the THREAT of a spanking! Now, of course, things are quite different for me, as I have discovered the full scale of my subbie power. Spot the one that is thought-provoking, brattish, arrogant and sassy. That one is the untouched submissive that needs to be taken out of her/himself by YOU, SuperDom lol. You will turn that person into a thoughtful, devoted and loving subbie. Good luck!

I so do not agree that you can't tell. [:D] If a Dom looks a (unknown) sub in the eyes, and when they look away, and the first motion of their eyes is down, then you are dealing - unequivocally - with a sub. If when they look away they look left or right or up, they could be anything, including bored vanilla; but if they look down first... Clear give away. (Just my experience, your mileage may vary.) [;)]

When I meet what I suspect is a Dom type man... my eyes meet his often and then I look away or look down.... I also smile at him a lot.... if we're talking and I laugh, I playfully and lightly smack him on the arm... kinda like how I did to dominmd in a different thread a few days ago... heh.... I didn't realize this was my submissive "come hither" signal, until after my past Dom's realized it themselves and forbid me to touch anyone else... ever. Interesting that by knowing me and observing me with outsiders, that they were able to translate what I was doing, when I myself didn't even realize it. After they told me... I paid attention to it. When a few Doms pointed out exactly the same thing, I believed it.
