I've read through this thread and have noted the various responses.

First...you are INDEED whining and complaining.  Sounds to me that your interest is not so much in "keeping him informed" for safety and health concerns but rather to attempt to lay a guilt trip on him.

Second...your attitude is...to be blunt...piss poor.  Your master told you to come on here and ask others what they thought and it is quite easy to see that those who have stated that you were complaining became the targets of your anger and dismissive, snide remarks.  That only points up just how right most ...and I suspect, your Master...were in discerning that you were whining and complaining.

You've flamed many on here who gave you honest answers and helpful answers.  If you don't like the answers because they don't match up to your mindset, that's fine...you can state that you disagree but that isn't waht you are doing.  Given your age, it can't be blamed on any sort of immaturity associated with youth but rather immaturity associated with a possible background of having been catered to or an unrealistic expectation of what really can happen when you are flogged/whipped by someone who is into a bit more than "ouchies".

Flame away...

Now this IS creative - mostly delusional too, but CREATIVE!  Kinda gives that '8' ball in front of you perspective.... *wink*

when is mentioning the bruises and welts recieved during a session  considered complaining? If I tell my Master that he has caused deep bruises or welts , shoule I keep him updated on the condition of the deep bruises and/or welts, or should I only mention it once? Is mentioning it once considered complaining when I only want to make sure he knows that he has hurt me?

Let's see....

i coo:  "ooooh, Master, this fucking hurts"
i whine: "You asswipe, that fuckin' hurt!"

In my mind, there's a huge difference.  It should be self-explainatory the difference between information and complaining.

~grins ...crazily~.  While it is true that I can relate to that 8 ball...oddball?...a great deal of the time, I can be serious too.

O.K., her first post sounded a bit whiny to me but it was those posts of hers that came back at those who were trying to be serious and even broached the issue of her "possibly complaining" that began to get my hackles up.

I agree that a problem should be discussed with your owner/dominant/master/mistress and clear communication lines set up about marks that you are indeed surprised by or concerned about.  Personally, I prefer being able to use what belongs to me and if I damage it too severely, then the longer I am going to have to wait to play again.  If the submissive were suffering from certain organ dysfunctions, the bruising ...its severity, size, etc....could all be indicators of a possible problem.  But given that the OP was rather vague and her further posts did nothing to clarify, it is difficult to state that she was dealing with a real problem or whether or not she was complaining/looking for sympathy.

If i end up having a deep bruise, umm last week, i tell my Dom and next time he comes over he takes a look, laughs and lets me know that they will go away. But he watches it and so do i. This is also because i am a fast healer.

As with all things, it's a matter of your own perspective.  Me, I wholeheartedly disagree that the OP was whiny or complaining or whatever else she was accused of and I said as much.

But those "who were trying to be serious"; you mean like when KoM kicked off with:
"What the hell does your Master think?  What we think is rather pointless."
Kinda makes a nonsense of having a public discussion board at all, ay?

Or MissMagnolia's intro:
"You have a stinking attitude for a slave. I'd beat the living shit out of you and some more for bitching."
I s'pose it does sound serious in a testosterone OD kind of way....

Others were less abrasive but it seems to me the OP did nothing more than defend herself, as would I....

And then came your "effort", which you then had the hide to sign off with "Flame away...", for cryin' out loud!  What next, accuse her of that laughable "sin" of then being defensive if she responds to that nonsense, too?  Or shall we just send her to the gallows for not phrasing her original questions in single syllables so some here don't have to actually think before they start shooting from the hip?

I treat others as they treat me, and that's all the OP did, IMO....

Focus...how's that cape working out for you....or did you go for the white knight look instead of a super hero?

Yes, you're correct; my opinion does dare to differ from yours and your fellow band-wagoneers....

Bandwagoneers?? Because the majority of posters have a differing opinion to you Focus? I don't think so. Everyone who posts has their own viewpoint. There are no villagers with flaming brands. You have the right to your own opinion of course, but that doesn't make the rest of us wrong.

If the op isn't intelligent enough to realize that KoM was pointing out the obvious fact that no one on a message board is as important as the person you are in a relationship with without flaming him, then yes, she is foolish and a white knight isn't going to fix that.

I'm just guessing her Dom/me isn't blind and can actually SEE bruises and welts as well.  However, obviously whether it is complaining or not, again as KoM stated, is really up to the Dom/me now isn't it?

The more apt question maybe would be something along the lines of he's not listening and Im concerned about my injuries, or I don't think my Dom/me is allowing me to communicate openly about an important issue etc., which is what you are assuming she is saying Focus.  However, she did not in fact say any such thing.

I dont think she IS complaining, more asking 'if' bringing it up would be seen as complaining.

Hmm. Well I just saw this thread, and slowly read it through. As usual and par for the course , everyones an expert but few stop to sit and think. So, my thoughts:

The OP's original post was not whiny. I'm with Focus on that one.

However, the subsequent reactions were over the top and aggressive in the direction of the wrong people, and I'm not sure what inspired it. KoM - as stated - is one of the better men on this board, and I saw nothing offensive in his posts, chelle on the other hand could really do with engaging her brain a little more before putting her fingers in gear - perhaps use preview before OK? (or perhaps there ARE people that enjoy Doming smart ass acidic bitches). Either way, the white knight comments are not called for. I suspect they will continue since it makes a fine defensive mechanism, and for the reasons state previously. It's interesting that as soon as someone disagrees with you, in favor of another, they must possess some form of messiah complex. Is that how your world works?

To the OP: Settle down, if you get this wild and riled from this snarky bunch, you're never going to be able to relax, post, or discuss.

Do you follow me around just to snark at my answers 6foot? You probably also noticed that I deleted, unread, the email you sent to me. You are rude for no reason and you seem to think that you must comment of everything I say. I couldn't care less about your opinions, about me or anything else, and kindly request you stop trying to prove whatever it is you're trying to prove. It's very boring and bordering now on obsession.

It's right there beneath my portrait. You're welcome to use it. I however, enjoy bantering you since you seem completely unable to restrain yourself with others, but are incapable of absorbing gentle mockery yourself. I find that amusing and it pleases me to play with it.

Actually, it's kind of prestigous - the first person to compel you to block. I'm sure Guiness will be interested.

Ahh well you will never know what it said - you could have already been a winner! Actually, I was just advising you to a response someone made on another thread, to you, that you had not read. Since I thought it would be of interest to you to revist it. I'm about 50/50 in agreement with the majority of comments, but your inability to balance your own outward acrid personality against a light rebuke, amuses me to no end.

Lol, the "band-wagoneers" I referred to are NOT those with differing opinions to mine, they are the ones who stoop to making personal attacks against those with differing opinions to their own.

And yet here you are acknowledging that I do have the right to my own opinion, afterall.  So the point you're making here is...?

And you think the OP asked the wrong questions about her own relationship?
