Well, this is just an observation from a sub here....but what the hell! First of all, it appears that it is you who is not reading very well, you ARE getting advice from some very experienced masters here. You were told how to find the requested information, you were advised in getting to know your sub/slave, no one is jumping on you for any reason. Some very excellent points about individuality were made. As far as punishment goes, you NEED to know your sub/slave in order to make that judgement about how to handle it yourself. For instance, corporal punishment for me is a 50/50 thing, sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. However, one Master had me do writing assignments, by hand, no cheating by using a computer, and with a very specific time limit for completion...essentailly drive time from his house to mine.. Now THAT'S a bitch, and trust me, I didn't repeat whatever transgression it was that caused me to be punished in the first place. He read and counted every sentence and every word, and fortunately, I was never punished for it being incomplete.....thank you, God!
Subs/slaves are NOT one size fits all. I see that there is mention of your age, yes, unfortunately, it can be a problem, mainly because subs/slaves don't want to take a chance and get hurt by someone who doesn't know what they are doing. Instead of slamming the Masters here, which was a) very immature for one thing, and b) just plain rude, take the information to heart. Have you thought of seeking out a mentor? The lifestyle is NOT necessarily a hands-on learning experience. The first ecperienced Master that used a cane on me drew blood after just 6 strokes..that was someone with over 18 years experience! Of course, I moved, not knowing that it wasn't something that I should have done.....subs are inexperienced also, and he felt bad that it had happened, and that he didn't tell me to NOT move. I look to the Master to have the intelligence to recognize things like that.
Post this question on Ask a Mistress.......you will get different responses....mainly because Men are from Mars and Women are from Venus....it ain't just a catchy book title, it's a fact! And a bit of advice, take it for what it's worth.....DO NOT alienate the folks here, they are great people, and while you'll need to get used to the different ways of responses, and the senses of humor, they can help you in ways that are priceless! You think theses guys were rough???? Wait'll you talk to Domiguy, LaTigress, Lucky Albatross, Lady Ellen, Aileen68, Celeste43...OMG, the list is endless.....I have ruined 2 keyboards while reading their posts..keyboards aren't waterproof!! Anyway, reading your last post made everyone of them, and anyone reading it afterwards, think of a little girl throwing a temper tantrum, stomping her widdle feet and crying. That's NOT a picture you want people having...first impressions here are a tricky thing......it's hard to take anyone seriously when that's what they see in their mind's eye.
Again, just this sub's insght.....this and $4 will get you a cup of coffee.
PS...for anyone I didn't mention, I did say the list was endless!
