I don't think that I could bear to watch the effect that divi might have on my peep collection....Twas all that I could stand to watch her consume one vintage peep...Original patina intact....Priceless.....Anywhooo can you imagine the ramifications if a cold hearted witch like divi were to come into contact with my beloved peeps?

lol.. funny video!! How do you find these ???? sheesh

Yeah, it might be nice to tap divi....But at what price?

divi -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 6:49:59 PM)

And to set the record straight.. I would never harm a peep like that..

divi -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 6:58:22 PM)

Okay .. I've been known to bite their heads off.. but who hasnt??? geez

laurell3 -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 7:01:17 PM)

hahaha just goes to show you the old adage is correct, there truly are not novel concepts in life..including peep torture.  I still want to see people shooting them at each other and covered in peep guts though.

I don't know, but someone needs to seriously do this and video it, because I think it would be hilarious.

I found just the device that will suit your needs to give Peeps their wings. It's not a blowgun, but more like a air rifle. I think it would work better:

Get a couple of these babies and we can see if Peeps fly! [sm=evil.gif]

divi -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 7:03:45 PM)

sappatoti -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 7:16:48 PM)

For those not willing to wait for these guns to appear as part of a bid, here's a few sources that you can apparently purchase them from:

As for the peep blow gun.. many many years ago I was married to a man who published a series of "how to" articles on home made blow guns (actual well respected periodicals no less *shrugs*).  In the research phase of the articles my hubby, his brother and I perfected a wet-whole-peep blow gun - several actually cause you have to be able to have an all out urban war with the blow guns once perfected.  It is with great certainty that I state that the wet peep blow gun fight is the best and most fun use of peeps.

The slight wetness is critical to attain maximum transference of peep color and texture to opposing forces.  The guns getting gummy and at times jamming up is a part of the fun and warfare strategy...water, various lubes, and various oils have all been used to achieve the wetness/gooeiness factor.  Each has its own advantages and disadvantages.

Our rules of engagement were a bit complicated.  We always played during a peep holiday seasons in downtown Atlanta a Sundays only as during that particular era we may very well have been the only 3 people in all of down town on such days.  Those were some fun times...*sigh*.

BOUNTYHUNTER -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 9:10:06 PM)

Bounty makes a peep shooter,a piece of 2 inch PVC pipe caped on one end,a small ignition hole, sprays in hair spray drops in a peep.lites it up, boom ,splatters to bits on neighbor lawn...

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 9:11:57 PM)

Peep guns...
hmm

does that mean we get armed only around easter?  Or that if we leave the ammo out long enough to get good and stale, it hurts more to get shot?

BOUNTYHUNTER -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 9:20:17 PM)

Yeah let them get hard as a brick...lots of sting lol

DiurnalVampire -> RE: Up Next on the Block... divi (10/25/2007 9:21:32 PM)

In addition to unlimited First Class air fare for Sap, I will also pony up front row seats to any and all B'way Musicals he wishes to attend as well as dinner at a location of his and his guest's choice.
