Status: offline 		IN my years and travels. I find so many different views of lifestyle in the us and overseas. Dommes, DOms are all different . the us or the uk or germany or asia.
which country do you think protrays your idea of ds / bdsm.

As a sub who straddles two countries, Israel and The States ... I don't really know the answer to this. I am more used to The States ... but I'll tell you one thing - Aba's idea of D/s is darrrrrrnnnnnnnn fine! Aba is a private man too, so I don't know anything about the lifestyle outside Aba's suka.

There is no country that can protray MY idea of D/s, M/s or BDSM. Only I can do that.

You got one bit right, all Dommes and Doms are different. Each one is an individual and all the relationships they are in are as unique as they are, so it has little to do with where they are but more who they are.

Given that there is a mixture of nationalities posting on these fora for instance I don't see a whole lot of difference in the way people view things based on their location. I agree with some posting here and not with others but that is down to their personal views and not where they are from.

I understand what you are asking.  I've notice certain differences in the regions of the US.  The east coast seems to be more "how tough can I show you I can be" to the west coast's brand of SM (stand and model).  I've never had the opportunity outside of them US.. I only know what I have heard.

Status: offline 		You're right on, Lotus. Regional differences. It is the same on a transcontinental level as well but perhaps more pronounced because of the "foreign" nature of other societies and societal training.

Status: offline 		YES this is what i saw. I also found that the bonding in britian with subs and doms dommes the collar seem to take a deeper commited value. Like when they take on a sub or a sub gives what they are to someone they do not go through the velcro collar thingy like we do here.

the middle east mostly M/s looking mostly for white females with heavy emphasis on anal sex

I'm disappointed to hear this. I came to this thread hoping you would post about the Israeli Bdsm community. I lived in Israel when I was a teenager and was no where near knowing about my interest in the life style. Now, I am most curious what it is like there.

Mmm, sadists, yes (at least one)! But not everyone in Israel is Jewish. There are a lot of breathtakingly interesting things to do to people in Israel though ... like ... driving a cleaning woman home who lives in the Muslim section of Jlm, even though the woman and I are in the back seat and Aba is in the front. It is called living on the very edge and is so amazing to me that I can't believe it. Culture shock, quite literally. Dodging suicide martyrs can be interesting too.
