No. I already have what I need, and way more.

Depends on what you are talking about. Are you looking for someone and not finding them quickly enough for your standard? I personally need more information.

Hate to tell ya, sweetie. but most people have felt frustrated, ready to pull their hair out, grind their teeth, and bang their head against the wall. (and some do, then they find out why that was a bad idea.)  How do they get thru it? by being patient, by opening themselves to oppurtunity as much as possible,( like if it is a Mistress you are frustrated about, connect with your local community if you have not.) Take up a hobby. Go to play parties, (if you are a masochist, asking to get beat can be cathartic. at least it is for me.)

no. this goes beyond what happens here. its a feeling of nothing you ever do works out and its because of something you cant control. But in this instance, you just feel invisible. Like you dont exist.

Well first of all Geoff, it sounds like you are dealing with depression or something along that line. I would suggest talking to a doctor.

Second of all, I don't buy into the crap of "it is always something you cannot control". That is right out of The Big Fat Book of Excuses. Life is full of choices, making choices causes actions and reactions. Even choosing to, not choose, is a choice, and will have actions and reactions follow.

There is a difference between being happy with your life and doing/being in a situation that makes you the happiest.

We need to be patient in our life to get to the destination we strive for but there is no sense because we are not there yet to have it negatively impact our life and goals in life. If such the case exists I suggest looking inward and see how you can correct your balance in life that is off.

If you can be just as happy with a normal relationship as a power exchange one then by all means consider it. If though you think this life is your best fit, patience and effort while also striving to be content and happy in the now are not mutually exclusive situations.

I try to be happy which can be elusive. I am on meds for depression- they work- at least for me- my psychiatrist is great.

-Take a pen to paper and map out what goals would make you happy. Then take small steps which in time will make the big picture your reality.

Try one of these two choices. Give up. Or dont give up.

I had taken my biochemistry text book with notes in pencil from an unstable pile about one or two months ago and put it in a safe place.

About one week ago I looked for it and could not find it... Iwas very frustrated for about a week. Fortunately two days ago, when I despaired again, I found it quite suddenly at arms length from where I sit in my book case.

definition of frustration

you did as advised, studied hard, stayed out of trouble, got into a career, worked hard, did night school to get qualifications to get yourself up the promotion ladder to the point where you earn a reasonable salary, as you were told you would.

and whilst you were busy following the rules of the game, those organising the game changed the rules so that here you are nearly 40, and with a salary twice as large as your father received and with which he bought a huge three bedroom house, yet even so youre unable to afford anything more than a one bedroom apartment.

lets not hear any crap about "positive thinking" and the like - this is the result of deliberate government policy, to restrict housebuilding so that prices double and double again, so that on paper at least, the country looks prosperous on the back of credit secured on equity which is nothing more than an artificial construct.

now, you could get a three bedroom house - if you were prepared to break every value you ever had and defrauded a few people, broke the law here and there. you could even get that house if you were one of those with whom you went to school, who made your life a hell for studying hard to get somewhere in life, who left school with nothing and spent their lives on leisure at the taxpayers' expense, pumping out kids every year or so. you could even get that house by turning up at the airport and claiming asylum. but work for it? dont be so stupid! workers are there to provide for those who prefer not to!

so here you are, stuck in a home far too small for you and totally unable to get anywhere larger because of factors totally outside your control, despite having done everything you were supposed to do. and you know damned well its not just you thats been duped this way, because your brother, a qualified accountant earning more than you do, is stuck in the same position. and then you think about your younger sisters, still in their teens and following the rules of the old game who wont be able to afford a home until theyre too old to obtain a mortgage, if ever.

and then your kids who will never own a home, and who when they stay with you have to sleep in the same bedroom with you, jammed into what the council housing office says is a bedroom only large enough for one person and tell you that you cant have such arrangements - yet they cant do anything to help, because there's no housing available.

and then some bright spark on the TV tells you we need to import ten million people in the next decade or so - because of our falling birth rates because young people cant afford a home to raise a family in, and you wonder where they'll live if you cant afford anything more than a one bedroom apartment. but then you remember - youre a worker, you cant afford a home when you have to pay taxes to build the homes for all these people who wouldnt be required if we had the houses in the first place for young families! not to mention pay the taxes to support those who prefer to not work who live in their three bedroom homes provided at your expense.

and slowly it dawns on you. the country is fucked, every which way. and since youre the one paying for the country, its you that getting fucked every which way, and there's not a damned thing you can do about it.
E

Wait. I never thought about the fact that one could become too old to get a mortgage. Thanks for telling me something I never knew Lady Ellen. Love you. Sophie

Actually, I never feel like that. I have gotten to the point where I enjoy my own company far more than anyone else's... and if I spend time alone it is only because I want to. I am rather busy in my life.... busy is a good place to be whether alone or seeking companionship.

I get frustrated at other things though...laughing

For goodness sake, geoff!  You are 20 years old and have been on this site for 1 month?  How long can you have been looking?
