And on topic, i really don't like the idea of a cilice in any shape or form. Open wounds which would be kept constantly open like the wounds from a cilice would be so prone to infection. I personally wouldn't want to risk the use of one.

penis, thigh, anywhere. I love the idea of hidden stuff that no one knows about except the sufferer and me. And he wouldn't be able to forget it all day long.

i always found the idea of a hairshirt fascinating, i was disappointed to not actually see those on the site. i've often thought of trying to simulate one with a sisal welcome mat.

The cilice is a new one on me... i wonder how well the leg ones work in practice if they're meant to be worn around the thigh... seems like they'd be falling off all the time unless they were tied on extremely tightly.

i don't think they're meant to create open wounds... That would undoubtably have led to an unacceptable rate of nun failure back in the day.

Though these certainly have visual appeal, i don't see them being any more practical for CBT than a CB-X000 with the spike rings, or the old Kali's Teeth Bracelets (although i think those are no longer available). Could i interest you in a nice strip of barbed wire?

Thats exactly what they do, they dig into your flesh cutting it and are meant to be worn constantly.

I would much rather torment with something like a small insertable vibrater that could be worn all day. Something I could trigger remotely as the mood strikes me.

Yes and the guys thighs were a mess of scars.

Not my idea of fun personally. I have no desire for more scars on my body lol There are other ways to suffer with out bleeding and screwing up my skin.

Status: offline 		The traditional cilice wasn't meant to cut the flesh, it was merely uncomfortable. The version sold here looks like it's based on the popular-culture image as portrayed in the Da Vinci Code book and film, and would indeed cause actual damage to the flesh.

If i can find one that doesn't cause punctures, just pressure i'm going to wear one. After discussion with Sir on them it has been decided.
If anyone knows anymore sites i'd be grateful for them.
