Hey everyone.  So I'm interested in hypnosis in general, but I definately consider various ways hypnosis can work with BDSM (note: hypnosis itself is neither dominating nor submitting, I'm more into hypnosis than BDSM truly, however hypnosis can act as a tool for BDSM like anything else and it's interesting to consider the possibilities.)

Small note here before actually starting the conversation topic I'd like: Hypnosis is often misunderstood.  Either people watch too much TV or movies and feel hypnosis can do absolutely everything without exception, or they assume it's "magic" which doesn't exist in the real world.  Both are wrong.  Hypnosis does work, though it may be hard to describe how most times, but hypnosis is neither mind control, nor is it a panacea.

Now that that is taken care of, hopefully the skeptics and the hopeful people wanting to lose their minds will contribute equally as the people in between...

Ok, so I've had ideas of hypnotic suggestions that could work toward BDSM, and note that my view is mainly geared toward dominant hypnotist and submissive subject, as that will always be my personal role, ideas geared toward a submissive hypnotist to help a dominant are perfectly credible and acceptable.  I'm curious as to peoples' ideas as to hypnotic suggestions that can be used toward BDSM.

Obviously, I'm not asking for the wording of a suggestion, as much as the outcome, like "Well the dom says/does something and I orgasm" or something.

Which brings me to some ideas I've come up with, please comment on these as well, and if you think of anything interesting or new, I'd love to hear it and talk about these with people in the public forums, and if you'd like to ask me private questions, you can feel free to message me (do note that I choose only to hypnotize women for BDSM and erotic purposes)

SOME ideas of mine:
-orgasm on command/trigger (could even be YOU do something and you orgasm)
-orgasm denial
-linking feelings of submissiveness with something else to make a submissive moreso
-linking feelings of domination with something else to make a dominant moreso
-make the subject frozen, or give the effect of being tied down and unable to move free

Please, add any to this list, brainstorm, even if you're not sure it can be done (some don't even believe orgasm on trigger is possible, when in actuality it's one of the easiest things to do with most people).

here is another idea that my Master and i have done.
for many reasons i can not wear a real collar.
1) i'm alergic to metal
2) the kind of places i have to go in my daily rutine would not be understanding if i were to show up with a collar
3) and many more other personal reasons
but using hypnosis my Master has given me a collar that i can feel and see as if i was really trully wearing a collar all the time.[:)]

Because hypnosis is something I enjoy in and of itself, I don't do it because I can't otherwise, but because a part of my fantasies include the use of hypnosis, it's a part of my kink, my fetish.  Also, hypnosis is a tool, it's not taking control, and any sub of mine knows this before we continue on.

You are not the first person to ask me this, and I ask 2 things:
1.) Think that, perhaps, just maybe, I do it because I enjoy hypnosis, and not that I *need* to use it.  If I needed to use it, why would I ask permission?  I'd never get a yes if I *needed* to use hypnosis.
2.) In my first post, I said to stick to the topic, and any questions about me or about hypnosis beyond the topic of useful suggestions can be messaged to me or asked in my chatroom.  I still ask that people do that.

This is the LAST time I'm putting this thread off-topic to answer a personal question, I will message privately if I get another, but I request you keep it to private conversation or my chatroom, as to keep this thread ON-TOPIC.  Thank you.

who said ANYTHING about hypnotising to take something you already have?
when my Master and i use hypnosis we use hypnosis as a TOOL. (and i have given this example before) i am alergic to metal so my Master has used hypnosis to give me a collar. another example is when W/we are too far away for actual "physical" contact my Master can still give me one hell of a mind blowing fuck.

in other words...He is not using hypnosis to take anything, in fact He tends to GIVE rather than take

I've been doing a HELL of a lot of research into hypnosis myself, some for my own issues, some for a sub I know. She was the one that put the idea into my head and I figured, "Well, if she wants to be a subject, what the hell?" So, I buried myself in it for a couple of weeks. (ADHD does that to you pretty often!)

Now, I can explain what is going on with hypnosis, and I can explain why. HOWEVER, I'm not going to. :)
What I will say is that I came across a blog of a Dom/sub that outlined thier adventures. Talk about fun reading! :)
I'll post the site in a little while, AFTER some of you have posted your ideas, okay? ;)

HypnoMaster? Here's a list of ideas that I like:

Skin sensation: orgasm by stroking the upper arm, palm, nape of the neck in public
Illusion: Collar and cuffs that changes into any color that she desires, or based on her mood. Naked in public while fully dressed.
Taste: Any fruit that changes to the flavor of another fruit from bite to bite. Coffee with a foamy cum topping.
Vacation: Send her to the beach for an hour, it takes only ten minutes.
Chores: Let Rosie the Robot do that laundry! She can soak in the hot tub! (I'll let you wonder about that.)
Sex: Give her a hot threesome with only the two of you. (Again, I'll let you wonder about that.)
Clothing: Head to toe in latex under her clothes, at work.
Transform: Forget about the world for awhile, it's Puppy Time!
Heroes: She's not your sub! That's Laura Croft!
Vegetables: She's a brussel sprout, small and green!
Masturbation: Time to be a RealDoll, without the expense!

Oh yes! You can have a lot of fun with suggestions and triggers. :) Just one little reminder? WRITE DOWN the triggers and suggestions that you install, uninstall as well as any other suggestions. Keep track of them to avoid conflicts. The subconsious will take things very literally.

I am a professional hypnotherapist. So the list could be endless.
i am not posting here as a therapist however but just giving a personal opinion...difficult as it is to sepaerate the two.
Regression (both this life and previous life) has got to be for me THE most powerful tool of the trade.
In theory every one has what is known as a 'primary mover', or 'original trigger' or naissant experience.
It will have been during a latent period of sexuality, or pre-pubescent or even earlier. but is will be and is I believe a formative point in where a person later stands along the dom/sub continuum.
Find that earliest memory and elaborate upon it for scenes....role plays.....play....scenes which come closest to my own prime mover get me almost immediately into sub space and even as a submissive I am captivated by those scenes which most flash me back or drift me back to very early memories and/or previos lives.
Now I know the previous life stuff pushes people onto one side of the fence or the other....I am just saying that both in my personal opionion and professional that prevous life dynamics play a profound role.

As a hypnotist who has used hypnosis extensively in bdsm related scenes you are basically only limited by your imagination. You can go into sensory suggestions. Visual hallucinations. Mental bondange *evil grin* Like I said if you can imagine it... If you are wanting to combine the two take the things that you enjoy most in the BDSM world and make them virtual in your subjects mind. You can increase sensation making the most featherlight touches very intersting. Its alot of fun I would only suggest that you really know what youre doing with hypnosis when dealing with power exhange things and remember that a submissive that wants to please may actually want to please to thier detriment *Just a light warning* but as long as you are well aware of that if you can imagine it you can do it.

I would be curious to see how hypnosis could help me with my inhibitions.  And also my fear of pain.

Well It can actually help greatly with inhibitions depending on what the underlying cause of the inhibition is really. As to fears of pain Hypnosis has long been used for pain control and phobias so I dont see any reason why one couldnt combine the two with the right approach. Hypnosis in power exchange is a highly intimate endeavour and really Ive seen things done with it in the Bdsm sense that would astound you.

All good and valid POINTS. :) However, the OP was asking for ideas in terms of suggestions and triggers, like the ones he suggested as an example and like the ones I provided. What kind of fun can you think of with such a versatile tool?

Im saying that it takes a bit of imagination within the realms of what the couple involved enjoy each idea I have for a hypnotic power exchange scene is dependant on the parties involved just as is any scene really. I can sit here and name ideas till I am blue in the face but if its not something they are into then its not going to work. For some people certain words have higher power than others, fragrances, touches, sounds and tastes. Its knowing those triggers for that subject and using and expanding on them that make this an exciting thing to explore. I mentioned some generic ideas in an earlier post.

Yes, like scottjk said, saying "It's very versatile" and "anything you can imagine" is all well and good, but I'm not significantly imaginative until I have a starting point.  I may think of nothing for a long time, then you mention "orgasms" and my mind goes "Oooh, orgasm denial, orgasms on verbal or physical triggers, orgasms in specific situations as positive rewards..." etc.  Know what I mean?

And Prismfire, part of what I want is more people interested to come out of the woodwork.  Another part of what I want is new ideas I never thought of before.  If I get some new ideas about mental bondage, and the person says they're not into bondage, then I won't use that idea, but it's still there for someone else now that I have thought about how to do it.  Don't worry about if someone's interested in it here, if the person isn't, then I personally wouldn't intend to use it, but it's there for someone who is...

In the mean time, awesome suggestions scottjk, and Prinsexx, while I wasn't going for how to work suggestions specifically, your input can be very useful and interesting.

I ask for suggestions the way I do, "Just give me the end result," so even the skeptics and the people with absolutely no experience with hypnosis can weigh in some ideas, and so they won't be afraid or just outright bored reading a bunch of technical talk on how the hypnosis will work.

You talk to someone new about altering consciousness, behavior modification, transformation, they're like "Uh... what?"
You talk to someone new about orgasms on trigger, orgasm denial, playing with their fantasies, acting like something that's not there is or vice versa, and they're like "Wow, I wanna try that!" or "Whoa, you can do that?"

I prefer sticking to the latter response when talking about hypnosis with new people, but then again, that's my personal opinion [;)]

actually i do believe i have come up with something that W/we have not tried nor did anyone mention. smell. for me a major turn on can be how my Master smells. i tend to steal my Master's shirts when i can get away with it and wear them all day. how lovely would it be to be able to still smell Him all day and not have to steal a shirt [:D]

on another note. some people enjoy the smell of themselves when they are aroused.

or just plain and simply highten their sense of smell around them. think how great (or bad) if just your normal sense of smell was intensified. would roses smell as sweet or better?

or think of how weird it would be to go the whole day unable to smell ANYTHING

Oh, I can think of a lot of things to do with senses. For instance, instead of tasting food in your mouth, your hands would feel the taste, or hear with your eyes, or smooth surface would taste like chocolate? Talk about distracting! There's a natural disorder for that,  you know. Can't recall it, but it does bring to mind if a deliberate creation of a disorder would be a good idea or not. Time for more research! :)
