I've never seen "traditional" birthday spankings being given to anyone outside of a BDSM club. Definitely not at any family gatherings. Maybe it's a regional thing? As for the spankings I have seen in clubs I've never seen a dominant submit to a spanking but I have seen a dominant have his submissive submit to receiving his spankings for him

As for using it as an a way to introduce people to the lifestyle...ummm....no. To me that seems a little too much like Amway, thanks.

Status: offline 		You know, I love spankings. I love it with Elwing lets go and gets me good. One time he actually hurt his shoulder from a scene of good long, hard spanking. Yummy.

But I hate to have to count out the smacks. And it always seems that a birthday spanking (weather it is for my birthday or Elwing's) includes having to count out the number of hits. I am sure that I have been spanked more then my years (or his) a number of times, but having to count really kills me.

Best birthday spanking I got was from a party of like minded friends where they bent me over the chair and everyone joined in. In that one, I didn't have to count, they did it for me.

So I will gladly take the spanking (mine or his), just don't make me count.

It's never too late for a spanking.

This was done when I was little. But, I have not seen this done anywhere lately.

Status: offline 		Here, if a Dom/Domme has a birthday, his sub takes the spankings for him. If he/she doesn't have a sub, they can usually find a willing sub to do so for them!

I turned 5 the first day of kindergarten, I got to wear a crown and was enjoying it until the teacher had everyone sit on the floor and pulled me on her lap for a pretend birthday spanking. Status: offline 		well FnF since you bring it up...my birthday pasted on 13 July...this year..to surprise mine...I jokingly told them I'd let them give me birthday smacks to show I could recieve from them what they recieve from me...now I'm not going to say by any means I have a low pain threshold because long ago I found pain as a mild comfort in some strange way...anyway between the two of them alternating every other strike...and getting 54 of those...needless to say I gave them something that'll have to last them a lifetime...it was a one and only one time thing...( do ya think I do to much to put a smile on their faces)...

If I'm in a D/s setting there are plenty of submissives around who are quite pleased to take them.

Otherwise I just tell my friends (when they've got that no-good glint in their eye) to (good naturedly of course) fuck themselves.

It was also the night of our local munch and I can tell you that my hiney is still tingling from all the swatting that was going on......and I have the broken hairbrush as a souvenier!!! That didn't seem to stop them for long....as someone produced another implement of celebration(torture)...lol.

Status: offline 		I really wonder where B-Day spankings originated. I had NO idea they were at all common until I was in my late teens. My family didn't do it, nobody I knew did it, or if they did, they sure didn't tell me about it...

Maybe that's why I like to spank so much now - making up for missed opportunities at birthday parties in the parallel world.
