English is a wonderful language in many ways - it's very inexactness allows for "error" (innovation) in concept that a more rigorous language would forbid. But oh, oh, oh how difficult English can be at times when we engage in analysis. Several of us have used "love" in this discussion in a comprehensive sense, covering more than one kind of love with the word - others have used the word in this discussion in a specific, eros sense. Padhraid, what you describe with "Z" sounds nothing like eros, but very much like agape, friendship love, mixed with maybe some physical admiration/desire. By no means are my other loves mixed with PE - storge love, charity love by its very nature, agape love - agape love is like "soveriegn princes meeting on neutral ground, respectful and courteous" - there can be no tlak of PE or D/s between such coevals.
