ORIGINAL: missturbation I have always thought it was because i think many women (and no not all, so please do not flame me) can be out and out bitches, jealous, under handed and quite nasty. A lot of my female friends have, and excuse my french fucked me over big style. I just don't find that with my male friends. I agree with you. I prefer NOT to work with women [my own age is the WORST - 20s and early 30s], a supervisor or one of 2 other ladies, we don't have to be around eachother all day, I am fine; but at my last assignment [I do temp work], {pulls hair out}, they were freaking gossips, catty, bitchy, they talked about clothes, and hair, and 'reality' {gags} tv shows like they were real life. They were backstabbing, jealous, rude, vindictive - I was let go 2 weeks BEFORE my contract was up, I found out why recently, the other 'girls' said I was 'not being kind' to them {insert puking noises here}; in otherwords, I made them LOOK bad. They guys at the other locations and a few at that one called the 'other' girls I worked with 'hens' and referened to the office as the 'hen house' - I was excluded from the negative conotation since I wasn't like 'them.' With my guy friends and male co-workers, its completly different; very low key, things get done, none of that other crap. Personally, I found in recent months and especially recent days I have leaned MORE on my guy friends than I have any female frineds; hell, most of my female friends still think I'm in a relationship; I turned to my bestfriend [a guy] moments after the [mutual] breakup. quote:
So can it really be that my judgement of females is just so out of synch with that of males? I think your judgement is based on your experiences [and evidently mine are right with yours]; we form our opinions based on our experiences and we carry that with us, in time those can change, doesn't always happen, but it can. Until that [possibly] happens, I am more than happy to have more male friends than I do female friends, and they few women I count as friends, I treasure them that much more.
