Some clarifications: Aspirin is definitely to be avoided, it is an anticoagulant ie it slows down blood clotting (often described as "thinning the blood"), so therefore more blood can leak into the tissues = bruise! Arnica tablets are not recommended for many people, there are risks ... but arnica creams and ointments appear to be safe and very effective at minimising and treating bruises. If you want to go more medical and less natural, try Lasonil or Hirudoid creams on the bruises. Tiger Balm can also be good but is less discreet as it has a strong smell! In terms of prevention rather than cure, Mistress should firstly inspect the area carefully for blemishes, pimples, prominent veins etc ... they should be avoided if at all possible. Then She should warm you up very slowly with gentle taps gradually increasing in intensity, then spank carefully, distributing the strokes evenly over the skin surface of both buttocks so that no one area cops too much of a hiding or too many strokes in succession. If She soothes over the area after every few strokes it not only makes the whole thing more erotic (and sends some subs much deeper and faster into space) it also seems to help the skin deal with the impacts. Spank to a nice even warmth and redness. If any weals or welts (swollen or discoloured areas) appear, avoid them or cease the spanking and move on to some other activity. Of course, whether or not She CHOOSES to follow this advice is entirely up to Her ... but I have found it pretty reliable in terms of producing satisfied Domme and subs whose redness fades by the end of the session and who go home with barely a mark! I always advise doing impact play early on in the session so the skin reaction can be observed while other play is continuing ... and to err on the side of caution with skin You don't know yet. Good luck to you OP and your Mistress! Maam Jay aka violet[A]
