Since when is compassion considered submissive? I consider myself to be compassionate but not at all submissive.
Maybe you are just becoming a nicer person as you get older. A bit confused still, but nicer.

I would say definately not.
The bdsm/submissive experience is different for everyone .
an example some like way play or blades or other stuff, and when you factor into that the enjoyment of different kinks...
some perhaps enjoy a "thudding" flogger while others a more "stinging".
so the first part of the argument here is just because something happens to you first and you "feel" a certain way about it doesn't mean its going to effect another person in the same way you have to be intune with them.

I think this is particularly true if we are talking about dom and sub vrs top and bottom.
I for one am going to hate having my hair pulled [well no hair now but you know what I mean] and lots of this I am looking at from a Dominant perspective are not going to effect me they way they will a sub.

Just my 2 cents
