Greetings sakidorei,
 
At first, I observed the section guidelines. I thought that they meant what they said. And from that point of view, it seemed to me rude to go handing out gratuitous advice to people who were specifically seeking the perspective of a dominant woman, or another sub/slave, or a switch, for example, because I am none of those. And personally, I still tend to respect the section guidelines. I do post outside them now, from time to time, if I feel I have something relevant or humorous or of possible value or interest to contribute. But generally, I don't even read most of the other sections.

When I first joined CM, I came here mainly for the discussions in the forums.  My first impression, looking at the structure and the rules stated were the same as yours, that certain forums were set aside for specific groups.  However, it didn't take long to observe that in practice that was clearly not how things worked.  I'll admit, it puzzled me and when I (rarely) think about it, it still does.  What became clear to me was that regardless of whatever the original intent might have been, things had evolved differently.  Since the moderators and the people who run CM made no effort to change this, clearly, they didn't care.  So to answer your quesiton, does it bother me... no, not at all.  If it doesn't bother the people who run CM, why should I concern myself with it?  It doesn't interfere with me posting questions, answering others, participating in discussions and sometimes just having a good laugh.  Is it how I would do things?  No, but then I don't run CM... so when in Rome...

Still, being the highly organized person I am, I do tend to refrain from posting in certain forums.  Virtually the only time I post in the Submissive/Slave forum is when I have questions addressed to that group.  I never post in the Gorean forum since I'm not Gorean and I've never had any questions for them.  Most of my own posts are found either here in Ask a Master or the General BDSM, with a few others scattered in various other forums.  But that's just me, nobody is forcing me to limit where I post and it would seem that neither the management of CM nor most of the forum members really give a damn.

I tend not too look too deeply at the issue, nor see it as an indication of any larger issue.  Mostly because I just don't consider it important enough to warrant that particular use of my time.  I suppose some argument could be made for it being an example of the dislike of certain boundaries many people, especially westerners, have regarding free speech.  The internet is a peculiar place, people say things here they won't say anywhere else.  That has both good and bad points to it.  Personally, I think worrying much about who is posting where is a bit silly.  But equally I think the importance some seem to attach to being able to post anywhere is equally silly.  And given that all kinds of questions get asked to all sorts of forums... and even when a poster asks for responses from a particular orientation they still get comments from all sorts... I can't help but think the current structure of the forum is a bit pointless as well.

So I think it is all a little weird, yet somehow it functions anyway.  Life's like that sometimes, messy.

The basis of my own bdsm experience has been over 10 years in the lifestyle as a slave Sir ... with my first Master for 2.5 years Sir.  My next Master for 9 months.  My third Master for 3+ years.  My fourth Master for 2 years Sir.  i have not been active in the public scene but was very active in the smaller circles that my Masters enjoyed and i have been a participant in a number of discussion groups, forums, and two slave coffee groups which were like munches but just for slaves Sir.  i have experienced both 24/7 slavery and long distance intensive visitations with my Master of one week out of every month Sir.  

As to my Master's qualifications ... because i was speaking to a Sir (You) ... i believe He choose to answer the question in a man to man way Sir ~soft smile~  He said

ok I was half wrong the OP came back but it IS the one twue way school.  I guess Master didn't teach you manners though, it's unfortunate you chose to discount any females responding, you could learn quite a bit from them.

I will say, and again, I mean this without malice, that if high protocol is what your master is looking for you to participate in, you may feel more comfortable reading the gorean boards.  They will probably have more of the structure you seek.  I am dissapointed in your master that he directed you not to answer my question as to whether he had the same opinion of the masters that post in the mistress, sub/slave, or switch categories.  I would have hoped even being female since I am not owned and I asked in a sincere manner, he would have graciously allowed you to answer.  If there is nothing wrong with them posting on the other forums, then I would think him biased instead of observing protocol.  So will He and you ignore my question? Or should I go in the slave forum as he is guiding your answers(which is his right) because then by default some might construe him posting in the slave forum.......

I don't know maybe the Mod will chime in on whether you have to fit another's view of strict protocol and be a "true sub" to post in any paticular section here.  I'm guessing the answer is no.  I've read the TOS and the rules and the admin posts.  That's the answer to the question.  Your personal sexist viewpoints about women are not, thankfully, paticularly relevant to the discussion.

See here is the crux of the matter:

I'm not saying a TWUE master should be disregarded as a dominant voice...the problem is there are other dominants out there that are not male, and should not be disregarded.(oh yeah, I know, I don't exist in your world, but yet, I'm typing, aren't I)

I will say there are many males that I have the highest respect for,Padriag being one of them, and truly consider him dominant and one whose opinions I personally hold in high regard. There is a huge myriad of others I shall not list as the list would be too long.  I also have high respect for some of the female dominants on this board and site.  I also think their views should not be disregarded.  However, not all the males agree on everything as not all the females. So although I may have regard for their opinions, I do not have to agree with them.

See, I would have held some respect for you, but I am seeing that you have probably not allowed your slave to answer me.  Tis no matter though, because I try to be courteous to everyone, even you.  Until you own this site though, you will have to keep your knickers in a wad because us smartass women actually think we have a right to post on here, because Collarme says so, and therefore it is.

No offense intended, but your initial post belies your experience level.  It is overly reliant upon respect, and perceived disrespect... something that is most commonly found in online communities though, in truth, it is not unheard of in certain high protocol groups as well.  Still, your experience level would not seem to imply that you would be (seemingly) unfamiliar with the less stringent protocol most often found in real time groups (ie: your protocol expectations are inconsistent with much real time experience).

Of course you would know that there are plenty of folks online claiming to be "Old Guard Trained", and that (in general) such claims are cause for the raising of eyebrows.  I'm not really sure what your Master means by "Old Guard Trained" so I won't put any words in his mouth.  He may mean that he has been trained by a gay male who is presently seventy to ninety years old (ie: someone who is from the "Old Guard" era).  Or he may mean that he has been trained in a set of protocols which *are* "Old Guard".  And my response to him would vary from "interesting" to "bullcrap" depending upon his intended meaning.  If he'd care to elaborate, I'm all ears.
 
I've never heard of a "professional Dungeon Master" (I've been a Dungeon Master myself, taken a course given by BR's former DM trainer, and spent a few years as a bouncer... though I wouldn't say that I'm a "pro"), and not really sure what he meant by "formal" training (which may or may not be what I or anyone else would call "formal"), or what he has published (was it BDSM oriented or a manual for a lawn tractor?).  The rest isn't really pertinent.
