It's a touch off-topic, but I'll try to make it pertinent--and besides, you hit one of my pet peeves:

Yes, but she didn't just happen, either. She'd been active in civil rights organizing, had gone through the training at Highlander, and knew what she was doing when she took that seat. There were two other women arrested earlier in the year who weren't such good test cases--or as disciplined--as Rosa Parks, so she ended up as the test case.

It sounds to me like that's analogous to what the folks in Denver are doing. They've taken a careful, disciplined approach and are as well-prepared as they could be expected to be. Lots of people and groups deserve our support, but when resources are limited, you have to harden your heart a little and think about who can do the most with what you have to give.
