Nah just vote for the other Dem that is running for that seat, and make sure the current one knows that you are booting them because of business as usual politics that they involved themselves in. Also, Bush and his group wiggled their way into the Republican party with lies and deception as well. Bush and his group would actually be a third party, because they definately do not believe in less government, or in responsible fiscal spending. I must thank Bush though, because now I am a conservatibe Independent, and look more closely at candidates of both parties. There have been some Dems I voted for in state elections, and they have done a moderatly good job, except I am voting against them this next election for not trying to fulfill campaign promises. Orion quote:
ORIGINAL: Lordandmaster Yanno... All this right-wing banter about how the Democrats have failed to live up to their promises is meaningless noise. What are you saying--that those of us who wanted the Democrats to open investigations into the Iraq war should turn around and vote Republican instead? Hardly. Look, let's assume, for the sake of argument, that your whole implicit point is correct: Democrats are shifty, so you never know what you're going to get; at least with the Republicans, you know what you're going to get. OK, yeah, with the Republicans, I know what I'm going to get, and I KNOW that's not for me.
