I don't care for it at all.

At first I thought it was on my end, maybe server problems, but then the reality set in, CM changed it on purpose.
Too plain, NEW MESSAGES sure doesn't stand out like before...

I don't care for the changes at all. They changed the profile viewing pages as well. I miss the big red new messages indicator. Darn them for changing.

I love it, now people will have to look and learn, hell of a lot cleaner. I wish they would install all the dings they had on that whole new face once upon a time as well.  And there are other things that would make sense, can't see an entire posting history for a user, can search wildcards for user as in mnott%   but not lactat%  which doesn't make a bit of fucking sense, need to restrict profiles by email id at least, say no more that 5 or so,  the criteria for searching could be improved, as well as the interface for the left hand lower buttons and what you can do.

The font is too small but other than that it's no big deal.

Since they changed it, how it looks depends upon which browser I'm using:

Safari ... I have a series of favorite users running down the left-hand side. The font size is too large for the space that it's given, so the names of people run out into the center space. The colors indicating the roles of the people in there are gone. The font size for the buttons under the profile in the center space are fine.

Camino and Firefox ... the font size for the left-hand side favorite users fits within the space given and the colors for the roles are present. The font size for the buttons under the profile in the center space are a little large for each, so some text breaks onto a second line within some buttons, but the second line is only about 1/4 leading space down from the first, so the effect is one line is printed on top of the other.

Site speed has slowed way, way down since the change.

I'm using a Mac running Mac OS X 10.4.10. The old design simply flew on my system, and the font sizes all fit within their allotted spaces. As for the current color scheme, it's not too bad, something I can live with. But I cannot live with the drag-ass speed and lines of text printing on top of each other.

And, I didn't cast a vote, for there wasn't a choice for "site has serious problems running under my browsers."

Glad you asked!

It sucks on my end. Too small and very pale. I find myself sticking my face closer to the monitor. New mail doesn't pop like it used to.

I liked the last format. I wonder why they went so pale? Doesn't make sense to me.

You will probably find now the site speed has improved again. When a change was made, the system would slow down while it was taking effect.  I have noticed there has been tweaks made since the original start.  For my browser (IE7) and the color scheme I have picked, the look is ALOT cleaner and although the fonts are smaller, they are crisper and therefore with my old eyes easier to read.  I like it better than the old scheme by far.

I couldn't vote because there was no 'It looks nice however I can't read the buttons' option lol. #1 said 'ugh' so I couldn't use that one.Really though aside from the font being too small I do like it.

Have you tried resetting your browser font? That may help.

OP this isn’t a very unbiased poll only one of your options was pro change with the rest having anti change connotations.  Your options for a fair poll should have been.

A. I like the change
B. I don’t like the change
C. I don’t care.

How can anyone expect the people responsible for changing the colours to get any accurate feedback from poll so skewed in one direction. It set a premise that most people just followed.

It's fine with me.  I come by to read and post some and am just thankful the site is here to do so on.  I'm not going to complain about something so great that is totally free.  I was taught never to look a gift horse in the mouth, so thanks CM for providing the site regardless of the "skin" or font......................luci

I do not like it at all, I have not even seen (and missed replying to) new e-mail messages.

It looks quite blah to me and whatever color it is that is currently being used for "new messages" is very close to the black color so I have missed new messages, although I am now getting in the habit to just click on it randomly just in case, lol.

Maybe I need new eyes, lol.

I agreethat I wasn't unbiased. I wasn't trying to be a jerk or anything. But to be honest I wouldn't have started a poll if I had loved the new look. That being said though. even if I To be frank I was/am curious to see how many agreed with me. I would have been content if a 100 folks chose the "I love it option" and only a half dozen others spread thier dissent among the othe other options
