You find the best things in life when you stop looking... I found both of mine as soon as I gave up becasue there were no decent slaves to be had. I know the feeling, and giving up isnt always the worst thing in the world.

Now now. Good things come to those who wait. Sucks but I keep telling myself that everytime a subbie falls through. He/she is out there. Just be patient. Enjoy whatever else you got going on in life and watch -He/she will find you when you least expect it.

ain't that the truth....it even works with boots at the Goodwill Clearance Center...hehe...found the perfect pair on friday after i stopped looking...

But, but.. I'm confused. How do you find boots if you weren't.. um.. looking at boots? And likewise, a Master??

The Law of Attraction states that the affirmations you play over and over will determine your outcome. As long as you continue to state that there is no Master for you, then that will remain your reality because the Universe see this as your desire. Why not take a more positive view? Once you affirm that there IS a Master for you, and really believe it, you might be surprized at how quickly one will arrive.

I suspect most everyone here has felt as you do now and then. Yes, it sucks and it's frustrating as hell.

But if you truly believe "He" isn't out there, then you're sure to never find him.

Advice? Dial-down your expectations and practice patience - which isn't to say become complacent about your search and your interests either.

It's really true that if you forget about looking, and just enjoy being you and work on being you, He will probably pop in on you unexpected.

Thanks Mr. S. =) That all sounds like it's probably very true... I did think he was out there for a very long time, though, really. I need to dial down my expectations, but I don't think I can compromise on any of it, either... I'm pretty sure that I know exactly what I need. The odds are ridiculously against me though..

i not only read it, i've put it in practice with my most difficult issues and have been utterly amazed at the results. i've found my work life, home life, love life and life in general to be a much happier world. *hugs*

By getting involved in your local community, learning all you can, making friends, and enjoying being kinky.

There are potential masters and partners that you may run into throughout your life if you are open to that potential.

Figure out yourself, get experience, and be happy with you as you and those potentials will start to pop up. Then you will have the self knowledge to make solid judgments before entering relationships.

Yeah, I was thinking the same thing. With a negative attitude you aren't going to find a lot of positive in your life.

To the op...find or build ways to be content in your life, irregardless of a relationship. People are attracted to happy, positive people. It may not give you a relationship, but it will give you some good friends along the way. And since you never know what awaits you, why be so negative?
