I think it's a nice pic. but hopefully you obtained their permission to use their faces on a site that deals with an "alternative" lifestyle. Some people are quite sensitive about being "seen".

Let me see if i have this right. You've just joined the boards..and found threads which were sort of meandering due to "flaming". Prior to this discovery, Your life was completely fulfilled and serene, so THIS is your MAJOR pet peeve? OMG. Wanna hear mine?

i'm a Republican whose party has strayed far, far from its tenets and whose sitting president makes me quite angry.

i'm a Catholic who is angry about the treatment of 3rd world peoples by the missions, and who disagrees with some of the Church's tenets, for which some priests would say i'm going to hell.

i've been here 18 months and been lied to so often i cannot count it. Evidentially when it says "no married men" on my profile that just means "lie about being married".

i've been here 18 months and have not found my One.

i could go on, but i think i've made my point. For the most part my life is peaceful, but i have these little nuggets of annoyance. What does not count with me is flame wars...though s'times i'll step in in defense of a vulnerable person or a friend. But i assure you i forget the post as soon as i'm done.

Given one wish, it would never occur to me to change the flames on the boards.

My major per peeve, is when people in business (mostly in banks), government officers or medical staff (especially in hospitals), judge you exclusively on your current income and how you are dressed at that time. I have endless stories of times when I may have just finished training in martial arts and am in sweats and joggers and looking like I wasn’t worth a who heap, being treated like an unemployed, homeless moron. Or these days because I have long hair and am partially disabled (left knee is screwed) get treated the same. I hate it when such people in these industries talk down to you and treat you as though you are semi literate. I got so pissed off at one Government Department that I photo copied my Psychology degrees, diplomas and membership certificates from professional bodies and literally rubbed the area manager’s nose it and instructed him to read them before he spoke to me again, at which time I expected an apology. At least I never have a problem with my own physician, she refers counselling clients to me.. [;)]

My pet peeve is anoying pepole like James Randy that do not belive in anything supernatrual and dont let pepole be in peace to belive either. They bitch that the christians try to force their faith down their troaths, but it is the same they do to belivers and occultist, try to force their belifhs down their troath.

Another pet peeve is fanatics, pepole that are so convinsed they are right and everyone else is wrong and is inspossible to talk to, that might even hurt pepole for not beliving or doing the same as them.

Yet another pet peeve is animal abuserers, pepole that harm animals for fun, i want to send them all to a tiny, tiny cell, full of exrements and other things and let them starve to death!

I too have many other things that bother me that I could consider pet peeves, I guess I should have specified that I meant Major Pet Peeve In Relation To This Board...but I assumed most would understand that was the intent of my post. To me this board could contain useful information that I could take something away from but the simple fact that a normal post can go from something that may be useful to a blatant waste of my time reading is what bothers me most. I have no true problem with flaming it is just that when 4 pages of it are 2 or 3 ppl going back and forth...its a waste of my time and everyone elses time to even go through those pages. I love to voice my opinion and b*tch too but they should make a board for people to b*tch. Or start a new post about it like I did. Don't do it in the middle of someone elses post!

Yes you do look nice, hovever i do share the concerns of some of the others here that those girls migt be pissed you posted their picture on a page like this. If somone reconises them they can get problems whit frinds and narrov minded relatives and so on and so on.

And I'm not changing my pic to that, last time I checked it was pretty difficult to be a pervert at 23 yrs old. Now 43, then you may fall into the category of pervert, possibly even pedophile, but hey to each his own and to you 43 and ups out there, that is not a shot, just explaining. I don't want anyone taking offense b/c you 43 and ups probably have seen and will see more action in this lifestyle than I will. As for "vanilla" I think I have an edge, except for the occasional girl that mistakes my middle of the road esteem for "arrogance." But that's another rant for another time, most likely on a different board. I have to say I didn't expect to see this post get 52 replies. But I have to admit I did read all of them. I guess we can end this because I was just having one of those days where I needed to vent and was hoping atleast 1 person read it. Thanks again, hopefully see you around. If you are local, I would hope you keep me updated on any upcoming events.

It's not a website? It's just an image hosted on greatestjournal & I was honestly just being nice. It's not like I have the poor guy up on a page somewhere for everyone to laugh at.

i know EXACTLY what You mean, Sir. i went from being a housewife in a lower-class neighborhood (and thusly powerless and invisible) to a law student to a lawyer (and thusly respectable and powerful) in 3 years. Nothing changed about ME. i despise people who are cruel to poor people or other vulnerable people. An education did not erase my memories of being poor as a kid...and frankly i think poor people have better manners than social workers, etc. sometimes. If you're in a helping profession and despise the people you help; get another job. Everytime you look down your nose at someone you cause harm.

To lay this subtopic to rest, cmcrop is just cropped and cmclean also adjusted a few levels to eliminate the contrast issues. I actually think cmcrop is a bit better aesthetically - it's got a sort of warm, bloom-lit quality to it. Both files are under 20 kb, making them useful for most boards, and let me know if you need other sizes. (The pictures are on webspace, but not on a website.)

so here goes...to finally put an end to it all...I changed my pic. I mean come on, I just look all lonely by myself now [:(] but either way, I have a bunch of pictures, it is just difficult to find ones that I feel I look good in. Anyone else have this problem. I am the biggest critic of myself, but anyway, I enjoyed this post, keep an eye out for me in the forums.
