It can pull joints of of thier sockets-tear muscles and ligaments. It can kill.

Which is why anyone who bottoms to it should be educated to it's dangers-give good feedback-and only play with competent bondage tops. If you are with one that is learning-make sure it's little by little, and the top understands what NOT to do-and will let you out immediately if things start to go wrong.

This is NOT a discipline to be playing ego trips in!

Tissue damage can be permanent or temporary. Ligament and tendon Damage tends to take forever to heal, and is never really totally back to normal.

You can ABSOLUTELY cause injury tying your cock/balls.  I would reccommend the book "The Family Jewels" which gives some great "how-to's".  Bottom line---use common sense and take it slow.  If your cock or balls are turning dark colors, you are cutting off circulation and should use care.

Judgeing from the very very very basic level of questions, I would say you really are taking a huge chance if you are already practicing bondage.

People trying self bondage need to be even MORE careful that those with a partner. You have NO safety net if something goes wrong.

So, yeah, permanent damage can be done. Do some reading...better yet get out from behind the computer and learn from a knowledgeable PERSON.

Status: offline 		There are risks in any activity including climbing a ladder or driving a car or swimming.  What makes any activity less dangerous is EDUCATION and using good common sense.  Even sitting in front of the computer doing nothing is risky, inactivity can cause obesity with all its risks.  Most every activity can be done safely and i think that is the point everyone is trying to make here.

There is no such thing as 'safe' BDSM practise.  There isn't even a thing such as 'safe sexual practise' which is unrelated to BDSM.  All practises carry soe sort of risk, and there are too many factors to list.  Do you have an illness?  Are you diabetic?  Do you take medication?  Do you have skin problems?  There are too many variables to inform you what is and isn't safe for you as an individual.  Anyone who recommends anything to you without knowing you and your background will not be giving you healthy advice.
