I have all 3... Yahoo is best for chat, as someone pointed out you can be invisible yet still chat... in fact, you can be invisible to some and not to others; I have a group entitled "always visible" and I automatically log on as invisible, always. Then I right click on the "always visible" group and change the status to visible, and anyone in that group can see me. That's for my Cat persona, for talking to people I have met on here. I also use Trillian, though, for all my other accounts (vanilla, my novelist pseudonym, etc.). It allows me to talk to my contacts on Aim, Yahoo, ICQ and MSN while running just one messenger service. someone above mentioned AOL getting their "teeth" into your registry, and they're quite right. With Trillian, you don't even have to install AIM at all; you can sign up for a screen name on the website, and then use Trillian to chat. I usually am running Yahoo for Cat, as above, and Trillian for everyone else, at the same time. All that being said, however... MSN/Live Windows is THE BEST for live cam! And believe me, I've tried them all, since I have a cam listing on NiteFlirt and I need something that works well, and consistently. I am postulating that MSN's video integrates more smoothly with the operating system because it *is* Windows. Yahoo completely sucks for camming :( Skype is better, but not as good as MSN. Eyeball chat isn't bad, but I could never get it to stay running more than a couple of weeks before it stopped working and I'd have to uninstall and reinstall it; after the third time I just said forget it and walked away.
