Well, we finally posted a video of me stomping and crushing a fax machine onto YouTube the other day. Not the best one we made - but good enough to test the market - we're holding the best back for more lucrative outlets. It got 90 views in just a few hours. Similar ones there, had up to 30,000 views over a few months. I find it bizarre that this sort of thing is so popular, but who am I to question it? The only real question is how long for delivery of a Ferrari? E

Very nice idea. The photographer and cinematographer in me cannot watch anything like without trying to think of a dozen ways to do it myself...I wonder if it would be more erotic with multiple angles, slow motion, etc...

It would be better with more light, for a start! Apparently what the afficionados enjoy is the raw display of rage and violence involved. Stuff that I think would be great usually falls foul of that desire - for instance more sensuous stuff like caressing the object of attention with the boots or the heels just doesnt do it for the viewers, though I'd have thought that might work. E

nods I understand what you're saying. Lighting is always an issue, but I was not being quite that specifically technical. I will have to try making one of these with a model at some point. Just need to percolate a bit on how to get the shots I want...and find someone who owns a pair of those boots and enjoys stomping. :D

Hehe, well, I'm glad the intended audience likes it! And seeing Lady Ellen in hot spike-heels wasn't too bad. ;) So when should you be able to turn a profit off this?

Hi Aidan We have to get a few things in place, but then we're off. Whats great is that all the revenue is profit since my friend gets the stuff to be smashed for free - its all old stuff that companies throw out as obsolete or broken. E

Huh? I don't get it. Evidently I am not the intended target audience. The boots are hot, for sure. But where is the machine getting it's just deserts, the denouement, as it were? All you did was rip off it's skirt and leave the poor thing standing there, lonely, wounded, and certainly wanting for attention. I feel like I just watched Brokeback mountain - lots of flirtatious suggestion, but no homerun. :-)

Oh My...love the boots...I was worried about them the whole time. I was like...oh no...don't break that beautiful heel! LOL I guess my shoe fetish is much stronger than any incling toward stomping and crushing!

I know that there is a big market for these sort of videos, though personally I have no idea what the attraction is. Another big medium you might want to try out would be fruit. A lot of people really seem to dig watching fruit get smashed to hell and back. I imagine that some of the viewers are likely mentally substituting those bits... er... for their own. Goes hand in hand with the trampling fetish. I'm betting that a banana flanked by tomatoes or other easily squishable fruit would really yank some cranks - and likely expand your potential audience. Now that I think about it, kiwi fruit might be better for obvious reasons. You're definitely right about the lighting. The slightly out of focus nature makes it seem almost as though it came from the 80's. Not that there's anything wrong with that. You'll still reach your target audience since the content wasn't overly obscured due to horrible video quality. Just the same, better lighting and upgrading your photography equipment may boost viewership/sales. If it's possible to edit the messages at the beginnng and end of the video you might want to go with a different colour. Neither black nor white show up as well as you'd like them to if you actually want people to read the text. I'd suggest a mid-line blue or green since neither of them appear in the video's background. The colour change will make a world of difference in that it'll be a lot easier to read. Lastly, in the beginning message it reads "Mistress Katrina Stomps & Crush a Fax Machine with here STEEL HEELS" Stomps and Crush are not in the same tense. It would flow a lot better if it became "Stomps and Crushes". And "here" ought to be altered to "her". Also, I'd suggest capitalization for both "with" and "her" purely for aesthetics. P.S. If the words were arranged in a slightly different format it would probably feel better to the eye. Something like this perhaps: Mistress Katrina Stomps & Crushes A Fax Machine With Her STEEL HEELS! Actually... Looking at it now, I think that the entire line "A Fax Machine" might easily be omitted. People know it's a fax machine. And it merely ends up feeling cluttered. Quick and to the point might be more snappy. Mistress Katrina Stomps & Crushes With Her STEEL HEELS! (Perhaps?)

Usual style, in the UK, at least is to always capitalise the first word and then capitalize everything except articles, prepositions and conjunctions. Thanks everyone - yes, the spelling and grammar need to be sorted out (which shall be accomplished by sorting out him wot wrote it). I was interested in the comments about no denouement - what would be a suitable ending though I wonder? ('cause I must admit, I dont get it!) E
