I took it and scored between 60 and 70, but I agree with the others who have said there were many questions where I could not give an accurate answer based on my life experience or preference. I guess life is sometimes a bit too complex to be reduced to four possibilities...

Although I felt fairly safe assuming some prior knowledge, any of those mags can be looked up easily enough. We is on the internet, you know.
But....Playboy, I'm sure we all know. Shape is about fitness, the cover shot is usually a very lean, somewhat athletic looking celebrity (Hillary Duff, Sheryl Crow, Eva Mendes), Muscle and Fitness is a bodybuilding magazine. Lane Bryant is pitched to the fuller figured.

Tammy Jo, I think you may be looking for a little too much subtlety between answers. For quizzes like this one, you go with the answer that is closest to your feelings. Is there that much difference between maybe trying something once in your life and being turned off to it entirely?
Grooming habits are not all about leg shaving, but I used that as a catch all. Shaving legs, armpits, the "bikini" area are all included in what I was trying to get at.

I disagree a little on 26. As long as you are not doing anything sexual or removing clothing, I do not think you need the consent of the public to behave in an outrageous way. The people around may not consent to interracial dating, but that does not mean two different race people can't hold hands. Same for gay dating. The question was meant to gauge a woman's level of nerve, her outrageousness and desire to shock people. I am not saying whether that is good or bad, but it is important info to have.

Not sure I follow your meaning on 29. How does life not cooperate in one's dating life? But again, don't think too deeply. Just look at what you are doing now or have done in the recent past. I was going for a woman's actual history as opposed to her ideal fantasy. I find the past is a better indicator of future behavior than fantasy life is.

Wow, malloves got 86es both times. Pretty cool.

I got a 68%, it was long, but fun, but some of the questions I would not do any of the answers listed, so I had to just pick one, LOL

My score of 75% tells me I have a lot more growing to do..and I have a lot of sadism I have to tap into. It was an interesting questionnaire to say the least.

Some of these scores are pretty high. Maybe I am a little sneaky, but not too much. I would gladly take the quiz of anyone on here who posts one. Lady Chef, just because you are not in lock step with little ol' me, that does not mean you need to change at all. I will be the first to admit that I am not the world's greatest slave. I have many shortcomings.
The quiz came from a conversation I had with someone about how difficult it is to find compatible people in our life. Just because person A is"dominant" and person B is "submissive", they could still be light years apart on many things. And thus, a little quiz was born.

you scored 'true mastery'- good on you.

I was shooting more for a little knowledge and a little attitude, but 'opinion' will do too...

Part of the problems we face in doing this thing we do, is that, as you said, we can be 'compatible', and yet light years apart, and most of terms we use in common have totally different meanings to us individually.

Questions 2, 3, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 15 and 23 don't test how dominant a person is; they just test how much, for want of a better term, BDSM general knowledge/trivia they know.

For #29 I was referring to my actual history.

Could I try to push a guys buttons and manipulate him into submitting? Sure, I did that in high school before I learned bout safe, sane, and consensual, before I started working on my own survivor issues. Now I don't manipulate, I'm straight forward. If I like a guy (or gal) I say "Hey, ever hear of BDSM? I'm a dom and I am interest in getting to know you better." That's how nervy I am (in relationship to #26 too) but it has nothing to do with lack of informed consent.

For me, lack of informed consent is the biggest turn off in the universe.

I get you. But for me, there is nothing like the ultrta confident femme fatale, who can seduce almost anything out of a man. She doesn't put a gun to his head, so you can't say it isn't consensual, but she makes him want to do anything for her. All perfume and boobs and stockings and persuasion and such. Makes a guy lose his head.

Seriously though, there really aren't any magazine cover models that the largest part of us are going to live up to. It's just the ones you chose seemed pretty one sided, that's all. For me... it might be some camping magazine, or (go figure) a biker rag. But we're all way to different to sum it up with those options.
