Lasha,

Try looking for a really mild aftershave balm. My boy uses one from a local beeswax shop - they make all sorts of natural products, not all are wax-based, so I'm not sure what's in this one. Of course, also making sure he uses a mild shaving bar or shaving foam that doesn't have a lot of chemicals may help. I've found boys tend to get lazy and shave with soap and water, or just water. Very bad for the bits. ;)

Best of luck with that!

As for me, I make my boys shave their chests, backs, and parts. One has to keep his head shaved, the other must keep it shoulder-length (just because it suits them, not because it helps me tell them apart).

I have to shave everything every day, I'm not allowed to cut my hair, and hubby gets to pick what color my toe nails are painted. He likes my makeup done in a retro style (40's, 50's) but doesn't care what brand it is.

right now his mission is to find SOMETHING that will keep him from breaking out down in his privates when he shaves. He gets these little red bumps so hopefully he will find something to clear that up.

Shaving every other day like clockwork. Coochie Shave cream and applying a small drop of Frizz-Ease hair serum after shaving. Smooooooooth!

Great question Erin :)

In general, no.  Luckily he really likes all the smells of the stuff I use and I curb my purchases towards his highest preferences.

I will however definitely order a partner on what they can and cannot use- I have an extremely sensitive and picky sense of smell and a perfume or hairspray can just totally ruin someone for me.  Also one of the reasons for no smokers.

and shampoos to tampons (and she is never allowed to use pads). She also has to shower and shave in a specific order.

So, does your dominant involve himself in your personal care routines or specify products?

I can't even begin to wrap my brain around the fact that he dictates the brand of tampons she uses, and that she is never allowed to use pads. God forbid the girl might need BOTH sometimes.

Methinks someone has wayyyy too much time on his hands.

I once had a Master who felt tampons were too dangerous to use at all and hence forbade their use.  I asked why he felt that to be the case and it turned out that he was grossly misinformed, so after gathering my evidence and explaining the true causes of Toxic Shock Syndrome, he thankfully relented and allowed me to use them.

Daddy does not allow me to use lipstick when I am with him and we might have the occasion to smooch.  He is allergic to something in lipstick and doesn't react to it well when it touchs his mouth or face, etc.  So, I use it when we aren't going to be together or if I know that I'll have a chance to wear it off or wipe it off before we have a chance to kiss.

Master doesn't concern himself with what products I use.
He will comment if something smells nice.

He has never said anything about the length of my hair, which is chin length, and if I wear it longer, it just looks messy.

My sympathies to those partnered to people sensitive to scents and smells. My ex would throw fits if I wore perfumes and I have a friend the same way--she even hates my fabric softener.

To my great joy, my current husband/dominant does not seem to react to anything I wear --thank the Goddess-- soooo I am wearing vanilla chai deoderant and gingerbread lotion. If he comments on how good I smell I always reply--it's so someone will eat me! To which he laughs and gets a wicked grin.

Be well and Blessings,

My Sir likes the fact that I don't wear any makeup with the exception of mascara and the occasional lip gloss.  I'm also not into heavy scents or perfumes... neither is He.  His only preference thus far, with regards to hygiene, is that I keep things hairless down under.  When I was recovering from hernia surgery, He helped me shave and is now looking into home waxing kits since I've been having problems with ingrown hairs (yuck) and can't afford to get professionally waxed.

I recently saw a TV ad for an electric tweezer which looks easy to use... has anyone tried it?

The only thing that was requested of me in the previous relationship was to wear as little makeup as possible.  It was ok with me, cuz what I wear, is usually eye junk cuz I have cute innocent looking eyes that I LOVE LOVE LOVE accenting,  and a tinted chapstick or lipgloss.  Everything else, he got sick of keeping track of cuz I change lotions, shaving creams, and hair junk almost monthly because of new scents, or whatever is cheaper or gifted to me.

When a boy or going to work I use what ever I want. When I am a girl, I am required to shave everything and use specific shampoo and body wash as well as specific talc afterwards.

My husband prefers me to look natural, no straightening for my hair, makeup only on special occasions. I am required to keep the pubes trimmed, but not shaved completely. Right now, I have three scents that drive him crazy, so I rotate them, lol. His favorite is "Sensual Amber" by Bath n Body Works, yummy! Long, elegant nails aren't very practical for me at all, since I'm outside in the yard a great deal, even in the winter. Actually, hubby doesn't order me to do much as far as body care goes, but he makes his preferences known.

May i ask you procedure for rinsing and towel drying?? I hope that doesn't sound too strange but my Master has requested i do that also!!! Do you get in the bath each time or pour water over yourself? I'm sorry to sound so ignorant about it but am curious as to how you do it! I myself prefer that also.

I've taken a little bit of control of this with even Vanilla SOs. Mostly it's stuff that is prohibited.

I can't stand that AXE body spray. Not only don't I like the smell, but when I sink my teeth into a boy I do not need a mouthful of disgusting tasting whateverthehellthatstuffis. Ew ew ew. Wash it off, fool!

The same is true of most colognes. I'm not a big fan. Aftershave? Okay. Cologne? Probably not. I like the smell of clean and natural much better than some weird stuff that makes my nose itch.

Last but not least, I hate icky goopy stuff in hair. If I can't run my fingers through hair without needing to wipe my hand off afterward, that product is right out.

i really don't know how i'd react if Ma'am were to dictate my hair-care products to me; anything else is only chosen because of price anyways

but i think it would be absolutely ridiculous for a male dominant to dictate to his sub/slave which and what feminine hygiene products she can use, i would think that he better demonstrate some very particular expertise on the subject... maybe it's me being a guy, but i just don't get it

well how bout this... *and I'm a little embarrased to admit it...

I'm meeting a guy this week for coffee and he's asked that I NOT wear any scents all day - no shower, no deodorant, no perfume, no nothing.  He wants to be able to smell the "real" me when we meet.... and he's told me that if we get together he will need me to be unshaven because HE will wax or shave me.  Well, I shave every day, so I think this will be a long process....

However, I love the smell of a real person witoout the scents, so I totally understand his viewpoint.  I've just never met anyone else like this.  I mean, I had an old boyfriend I used to tie up to the mast of his boat and sniff him all over.  I loved that.  Hmmm, maybe I could get tied to a mast of a ship and get sniffed myself... that'd be fun... a little cold maybe, but what's a ... *oops sorry...   where was I?  Oh yes, I am just glad that it's not summertime for this.

peace
