By admitting that you can't change things, you have become a proud member of the Status Quo Boosters Club. I haven't surrendered yet, which is why I see the advantage in knowing how the system is supposed to work.

I don't claim that this is a society of either civility or laws any longer. The cops have to respect the law or there is no law to respect. So I hope that a lawsuit will remedy this situation. If not, there are options. This cop stepped well out of line in my view. He wanted to give someone a "ride" on a taser, now maybe someone will give him a "ride" of some kind also. Instant karma. I don't pity him at all. That guy walks with a bullseye on his back. Works for me.

One thing is for sure,this is not good PR for police. Cops like these, make things tougher for the professionals.

I'm still trying to figure out what the big deal is to hand over your driver's license like you are supposed to when asked by the police.
