did you have a special ceremony? What if anything did you say to ach other and how did it feel when it was placed around your neck? Thanks

eyesopened -> RE: If you are collard (11/24/2007 4:30:16 AM)

Master and i had a private 'ceremony' where i came to Him and begged for Him to accept me and He did and placed the collar on my neck where it remains.

Dear, you may want to consider how close we still are to Thanksgiving as a collard, as any good southern girl knows, is a green leafy vegatable best served with ham, and no ceremony is necessary.

rubberpet -> RE: If you are collard (11/24/2007 4:34:13 AM)

When my first owner collared me, there wasn't a special ceremony.  Even though it seemed like a spur of the moment thing (being collared in the parking lot of Newark airport on the very first visit to see her), it still felt very right.  She and I had a wonderful relationship afterwards.  I learned a lot from her and still use the knowledge she gave me to this day.

With Mistress, I hope deep inside that She does something special when She decides to officially collar me.  Having Her collar locked around my neck is what is most important to me, but it would be nice to have a nice little ceremony to commemorate it.  She says I have done so much for Her in just the short amount of time we have been together and has basically taken ownership of me.  The only thing left is to sign Her contract and humbly accept Her collar[:)]

Hmmmm, signing a contract, huh?  Am I signing my soul over to the devil?  Not quite, but She is a VampChick;-)

Master gave me my formal collar for my birthday. We didn't have a ceremony or anything, but I did cry when I finally got it, he had tears in his eyes and the night was  amazing[;)]

I've never had collards.  Not sure if I would like them.

When I collared Angel, there was a good bit of fuss, he and I discussed it and he begged me to make it sooner than I had planed becasue of our distance. It was a private thing, just he and I, but we had a few short things planned to say t one another, and he knelt to accept it and had to swear to give himself to me. It was quite pretty, and it madehim more comfortable in the months we had to be apart before I moved.

When I collared Fox, he was snuggled against me. He had no idea I was even thinking about a collar yet.  He had been having some issues with security, and was worried that things with he and I werent going to wor out for varous reasons. I simply leaned to his ear, kissed it, put the collar around his neck and asked "Are you mine?" I never did get a verbal answer, but the tears pretty much cemented it for me. I held him until he was composed again and then let him head back home.

i have, they can be very good, if cooked right.

I had no ceremony when I was collared, it was just the two of us and yes it was special but it didn't need the trappings of ceremony.Katyyyyy you've never had collard greens?!? Truly? They are fantastic, imagine a very hearty version of spinach. Rich earthy flavor and a yum texture. I love 'em cooked over rice, cooked with a chunk of ham, cooked with a plop of butter on top and now I'm hungry.

KatyLied -> RE: If you are collard (11/24/2007 5:07:38 AM)

Well, when you describe them like that I think I'd like 'em!

Try slow-cooking them in bacon fat with a ham-hock.  Yum Yum!

I'd assumed that, since `collinear' means `in the same line', `collard' would mean `in the same lump of pig fat.'

the best way of cooking collards

i was collared on Jan 16th and it was rather simple merely accepting the cold metal screwed around my neck.  next year on the anniversary, i'll be collared by my fiance.

southernhart -> RE: If you are collard (11/24/2007 8:53:49 AM)

How wonderful sam! i am so happy for you!

breatheasone -> RE: If you are collard (11/24/2007 9:59:50 AM)

My Master collared me in July. Its was just He and I, it was unexpected, I never saw it coming. He brought me a pillow, and told me to kneel. He then said some very loving, and beautiful things to me, and put His collar around my neck.

TexasMaam -> RE: If you are collard (11/24/2007 2:20:33 PM)

Actually, "Collards" is a corruption of coleworts or colewyrts, Anglo-Saxon terms literally meaning "cabbage plants."   Collards are from the family of Brassica oleracea variety acephala, the last term meaning "without a head." Headless cabbage plants.

Nothing at all to do with lard, but much in common with brainless submissives...in fact, I'm sure the two must be related somehow.....

When I accepted Master Jess's collar there was not a special ceremony , and my collar is a bracelet .But my collar means just as much to me as any other sub/slave's collar means to her/him.
My collar/bracelet means more to my Master than a neck collar would because it was a gift from his parents upon his graduation from High School. The bracelet is almost as old as I am. I very much treasure it!
